Students will create a 5-10 minute virtual tour of one of the most dangerous and challenging places in the world for humans to live. They must include at least 5 checkpoints for their chosen location, providing a paragraph description and 3 visuals for each. Checkpoints should describe physical features, challenges, how people have adapted to the environment, and other important information. Students will submit their Screencastify, Google Slides, or My Maps presentation and upload it to their digital portfolio. They will also watch classmates' tours and design a real estate advertisement persuading someone to buy property in the most desirable presented location, minimizing risks but emphasizing benefits.
