INTRODUCTION
• HRO, there is another level of management that I think of with the HRO
vendors like, Husys, Hewitt, and Accenture. Above and beyond tasks, they
provide end to end function management. Most of the time in their
contracts, they are also providing some level of multi-function process
  management.
• So instead of just doing payroll gross-to-net, check printing and tax filing
as in traditional payroll outsourcing, they’ll also manage the process and
provide end to end service, and they’ll also do the HR and end to end
benefits while they are at it.
• Traditional HR outsourcing simply means task and
transactions. Today’s HR BPO vendors are providing services under an
umbrella called HRO, and I think the HR community is understanding that
acronym (HRO) to mean HR BPO.
• When you hear me say HRO, I’ll be referring to HR BPO. Otherwise I’ll say
  “traditional outsourcing.”
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (what, why, and How)

• The ability to think outside the box a little and to test new market sectors
  – use what you have in terms of skills and expertise but in different
  markets with different customers.
• Flexibility – by looking wider you may be more flexible in times when the
market goes quiet and customers slow down.
• Foresight – with someone actively looking for new business you may be
more likely to stumble on something really useful, some new technology,
some new ways of doing business, something your competitors are doing
that you’re not. If you’re not actively looking for things you tend not to
  see them.
• A strong link between your marketing team and your sales team where a
successful business development manager will build strong relationships
with key clients for lasting business.
• It facilitates the flow of almost all the activities of business operation.
Business Development in HRO
                          ( today scenario)
Suggestion for improvement in Husys
               services(from now on)
• Husys should target those sme whose owner doesn’t want to reveal
his business concept to its employee in fear of taking it away.
• Husys should go for collaboration with mind-liked companies.
• They should adopt the technique of cross and up selling.
• With the entry of FDI chance of growth increases (expected to grow
  13-16% in Rs term{ source Nasscom}).
• Enhance the skilled talent pool in the country and focus on
  Specialization.
• Opportunities in emerging verticals (such as healthcare, government
and utilities), emerging geographies (such as Asia Pacific and EMEA) –
highest IT adopters growing nearly twice the mature geographies and
  verticals.
• Global sourcing landscape is shifting as vendors are becoming more
  ‘customer-obsessed’.
