A 26-year-old male was involved in a road traffic accident where he sustained a fracture of the right humeral shaft with multiple cuts and abrasions. His right hand was also injured with multiple fractures of the metacarpal bases and cuts. He was treated with closed humerus reamed nailing for his arm fracture and external fixation for his hand injuries. He followed up 8 weeks later to have the external fixator removed and again 2 years later to remove the implants from his humerus fracture treatment. The wounds had healed and the procedure was performed successfully.
