Goodwood Plantation is a historic cotton plantation house located in Tallahassee, Florida that was established in the 1830s. It is now a museum that features original family furnishings from the different families who lived there over time, preserving the house as it appeared during World War I. The plantation grounds have special events and follow a no mowing rule to preserve the authenticity of the gardens. Visitors can tour the main house during specified times and learn about Goodwood's history as one of the finest antebellum plantation homes in the region.

3. Goodwood History
 Goodwood is a cotton plantation and one of the finest
antebellum plantation houses ever built in this region.
Established by hardy Croom in the 1830’s. Later inherited by
his brother after a tragic steamboat accident. Since the original
owner, multiple families have lived on the plantation
surrounding the world war I era.
 The plantation is now a historic house museum that features,
in each room, original family furniture, textiles, glassware, and
art from the families who had once lived there.
 Goodwood plantation captures the essence of the different
families who lived on the plantation. “In the Main House the
rooms are displayed just as they were in the years
surrounding World War I”(goodwoodmuseums).
