Figure out your top cities.
14. What types of orders do you want to offer it?
(e.g. orders over $35, orders going to major
cities, etc.)
15. What are your top order profiles? For
example, in our analysis of our
customers...
16. ...we found the top 5 profiles account for 70%+ of
all orders. Query your orders by SKU & quantity.
Figure out the top SKU/Quantity mixes.
17. What percent margin do you want
shipping to account for? Or are you
willing to lose money on some orders to
offer 2-day shipping to every customer?
18. Look at your volume over the course
of the year and show an estimate of
growth going forward.
19. Once you’ve answered those
questions, think about how you
want to store inventory.
