In 2015, with a slowly declining share, the challenge for
Lifebuoy was to strengthen its relationship with current
target users, mom with kids, while also giving them the
power to be in control of their children's health care.
Indonesia has one of the highest child mortality rate in the
world with 27 per 1000 children. Together with moms,
we mapped out what kind of experience moms go through
when their children are sick. We found out that lack of
credible information is always the problem and some of
them wish they can stop it before happening.
Credible way to check the
disease symptoms.
Symptoms Checker consists of hundreds of
common kid’s disease with prevention tips. To
make this tool as credible as possible, we
partner with KlikDokter (Indonesia’s leading
health-tech startup) as the main source of
information. These information are checked
frequently by experts and doctors.
Track the little one's health.
We understand that keeping the kids healthy all
the time is impossible. That's why we create
Sickness Diary to help mom battle the disease
by tracking their kid’s daily/weekly health
record, including vaccines, weight, and height.
Be ahead against the disease
outbreak.
This system is possible using location-based
search query. We created this heat map when
certain words are getting search a lot. This
information then are feed into our application in
real time.
With Disease Map, Moms can see disease
threat around their location so they can prepare
before going to those locations.
Showing sickness and disease
information can be daunting for
moms.
We decided to go illustration and fun route so it can
assist mom in more positive manner. All of the icons
and illustrations are created to give proper
information for moms but at the same time, not
scaring moms away. We are using bright and nice
color to calm parents down.
Berbagi Sehat Application successfully attract thousands of moms and
also gain a lot of love in app store.
It was rate 4.1 Stars in Google Play Store and able to keep return rate at
66% which show how much mom are using it. Besides that it is the
lowest cost per download ever for Unilever Indonesia mobile
application. But most of all, it showed how Sharing Health can be just
as healthy for a brand as it is for a child.
