Ability for collaboration is an important skill in many modern professions. Students should master these skills to be able to participate in project work during study, as well as to work in different groups in the workplace (project groups and communities). An important issue in collaborative work is assessment of individual’s contribution. We will present methodology for qualitative evaluation of individual’s contribution in collaborative learning process supported by Wikis and Google Docs. Wikis provide an environment for collaborative writing and enable easy monitoring of students’ activities, such as frequency of editing and amount of published text. Google Docs is a Web-based application in which documents and spreadsheets can be created, edited and stored online. Google Docs could also be used in collaborative work in which multiple authors work together in real time.
We will present collaborative learning activities based on editing of Wikis or Google Docs followed by collaborative and peer assessment. Peer assessment is learning activity where students consider and specify the level, value or quality of a product or performance of other people in similar situation, usually student within a given class. Peer assessment is an important activity in collaborative learning.
Students will be divided into groups. Each group will consist of 3-4 students. Groups will select project topics regarding to the interest of the members from Videlectures.net or any other portal with scientific or educational video content.
The assessment of collaborative work will be supported by Moodle workshop.

The document summarizes a design panel discussion at WebVisions 2006 in Portland, Oregon. It introduces the five panelists and their areas of expertise. It then discusses some of the key questions and topics addressed by the panel, including what is wrong and right with design today, the most important elements of design, examples of innovative design elements from different websites, how to apply design elements to your own projects, and how to develop your own style while drawing inspiration from others.
Design is in the Details is a presentation that is dedicated to showing you that the small things really do matter in design. My colleague Dan Rubin and I compare CNN and Fox News, showing how subtleties in padding, spacing and even contrast can make any site look more professional. We end with tips and tricks that we use on a daily basis and a reveal of a quick redesign of Fox News done especially for the presentation.
This goes well with the WebVisions 2008 podcast of the same name (once they release it at webvisionsevent.com).
CommunityDays 2015 - NPM, GRUNT E BOWER: IL NUOVO PACKAGE MANAGER DI VISUAL S...Gianluca Carucci

Ask The Expert - Typescript: A stitch in time saves nineGianluca Carucci
This document discusses TypeScript design goals and features. It begins by explaining that TypeScript aims to use JavaScript behavior and programmer intentions to guide its design rather than mimicking existing languages. It then lists goals of aligning with ECMAScript proposals and using a consistent, fully erasable structural type system. The document provides examples of TypeScript types, unions, intersections, and discriminated unions. It also discusses using functional programming with algebraic data types, functors, and monads to implement validation in TypeScript. Homework suggestions are provided at the end.
Nueva Andalucía secondary school in Marbella, Spain welcomes multicultural students from different countries. The school has 322 students who study various subjects from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Next year, the school will become an ICT secondary school and improve results through quality projects, continuing e-twinning and music programs. The document shares photos of the school's facilities like classrooms, labs, cafeteria and playground that support students' learning.
