program, that was
approved recently
through a governmental
decree, in March 2022.

3. A digital nomad is
a person who can
carry work
activities from any
location, including
from foreign
countries.

foreigners will not be
allowed to carry work
activities connected to
Italy.

5. Foreigners who
will stay for more
than 3 months in
Italy will have to
apply for a
residence permit.

6. Digital nomads
have the right to
bring in Italy their
family members
(spouse and
children).

7. Persons interested in
this visa pathway
can choose a tourist
visa, a study visa or
any other visa that is
not created for
employment.

8. Those who will apply for the digital nomad visa
must know that the Italian authorities can issue
only 500 visas per year.

9. One of the conditions
for obtaining the visa
is to have a minimum
income of EUR 8,500
per year.

10. Digital nomads
who arrive here for
stays of maximum
90 days do not
have to apply for a
residence permit.
