To become a Christian, one must:
1. Admit that the God described in the Bible is real and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him through faith.
2. Believe that Jesus was telling the truth and learn as much as possible about Him and His teachings.
3. Confess to others your belief in Jesus and your desire to follow His way instead of your own way or others' ways.

Sometimes distinguishing our own ideas from God’s leading is difficult. In Part 3 of “Be Still,” Nancy Avera will help us understand some keys to discerning God’s voice. If you have a sense that God is talking to you, guiding you or prompting you to do something you’ll learn some great questions to ask. http://www.stopandbestill.org/stop-and-be-still-retreats/overview-of-lessons/
This is a presentation we did on Monday for a new ministry we are starting called GRIT, the Grace Reformed Institute of Theology. We will be launching GRIT on July 10th with a class over the book of First John.
Is Jesus a historical figure who claimed GOD? Did he ever claim to be a God? If so where is the proof? There is not a single statement of him claiming to be God! So these

99 Jesus Used The Word to Focus People on LoveRick Peterson

This power point is aimed towards the importance of Wisdom and how God wants us to live by the path of His wisdom. We must seek wisdom, live by wisdom, and grow in our faith by gaining wisdom.
Jesus said we must worship in Spirit and Truth...test your faith here. Those who love and practice lies will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Are you worshipping in truth or a man made lie???
Revelation 22:14-15
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

3. What is Foundational for Discipling Someone? Notes (A4)William Anderson
This is the third of four sessions of our “Being and Making Disciples” workshop held in Săcele on September 1, 2012. In this session we answered the question “What is Foundational for Discipling Someone? by looking at what to do to help build a strong foundation in the life of those we disciple. The topics covered included looking the big picture, being vs doing, the gospel of Jesus, three main tools Jesus uses, it’s all about Jesus, our heart motivation and our new identity.
List of biblical kings and their prophets, good and bad, how long they reigned, verse in which they are first named as king and the prophet(s) during that reign.
1. How to Become a Christian
As simple as it gets!
Admit that the God written about in the Bible is real and he rewards those who seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6 New International Version (NIV)
v6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must
believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Faith means you have become convinced that God does exist whether you can see him or not
and whether other people believe it or not. Because you are convinced that he does exist, you
start investigating God very seriously in your intention, purpose, or effort. You trust that if God is
real and if you seek him he will prove himself real by making a gift of something to you in
recognition of your services, efforts, or achievements.
Believe that Jesus is telling truth and learn everything you can about Him.
Matthew 11:29 New International Version (NIV)
v29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you
will find rest for your souls.
Jesus really did exist as there are several sources outside of the Bible that speak about him.
There are real places and real people. The Bible is reliable historically. You decide to learn
everything you can about Jesus, his life, his teachings, what other Christians can testify to, and
you learn to listen to your instinct.
Confess (tell someone) that you believe Jesus is telling the truth and that you want to do things
His way instead of your way or someone else’s way.
Colossians 2:8 New International Version (NIV)
v8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which
depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on
Christ.
We’ve all been given the freedom to do our own thing. We are also given the opportunity to
learn about God and his ways. We can choose what we want to do. Our way and the way of
others often get us into trouble and cause us a lot of pain and suffering. Doing things Gods way
does not. Jesus is God in the flesh; God’s spirit inside of a human body and now inside of us
when we choose him. When we choose to do things our way, we sin, and we all have sinned
because at some point we all decided to do what we want, when we want, and how we want.
When we sin we miss the beauty of life and of being loved deeply. We miss what God himself
will teach us. We miss the truth and we miss so much more.
Think about it. Do you already believe there is a God? Is the Christian God real or not? Are
you leaning toward the Christian God? Then investigate him.
