•	 Majority of sports manufacturers such as, Nike Inc., Adidas AG, Under Armour Inc., Kering
Group, ASICS, & Columbia Sportswear Co. have majority of their garment suppliers from
Asia Pacific, which has an average share of 75% in total garments suppliers of these brands.
•	 In Asia Pacific, majority of these brands have their garment suppliers from China and
Vietnam, which has an average share of 30% and 20% respectively in total garments
suppliers of these brands.

prepared using polyester. However,
globally viscose is being preferred
for sportswear category, owing to its
properties such as, softness, shrinkage
resistance, absorbency (50% more than
cotton), better sweat and moisture
management properties, durability,
luxurious look and feel, and higher skin
friendly characteristics.
