A man was seriously injured when his Audi TT crashed into a house at high speeds in Suffolk, England. The car left the road, hit another vehicle, and bounced into the corner of the house where it became stuck several feet off the ground, indicating high speeds. Both the Audi and the other vehicle were totaled. People were home at the time but fortunately not injured. The driver was taken to the hospital with severe head injuries and engineers were called to inspect the structural damage to the house.

1. Horror movies turn into reality!
Are you a fan of those big Hollywood blockbusters? Most of us love the action
especially when it comes to cars doing double flips. Vehicles doing air acrobatics are
fantastic to watch. Although daring we know that they are performed by qualified
stuntmen with experience in their field. It’s all staged in an elaborate film set with
safety at the heart of each stunt. No body gets hurt and its all just a bit of harmless
entertainment at the end of the day…Or is it?
What happens when these thrillers turn into real situations? Maybe into a kind of
freak accident?
These ‘freak accidents’ can happen to even the most safest and aware of drivers.
There are without doubt other factors often involved. The physical state of the driver,
whether they are sober or under the influence of illegal substances at the time. They
could be driving when tired- also something that is not recommended. Then there
are the road and weather conditions, these are also strong elements that are taken
into account. Was there heavy rain at the time, fog or light flurries of snow perhaps?
Anything that compromised road conditions and that contributed to the accident?
Road conditions can change at a moments notice. You can easily find yourself losing
control of your car and skidding across a slippery wet road surface.
Although we may do all that we can to prevent incidents from occurring, these freak
accidents still happen. Take this example- One man was badly hurt when a car
smashed into a house in Suffolk during the early hours of Sunday.
The bright red Audi TT is thought to have been travelling at high speeds as the
accident happened. At one point the car is thought to have actually left the road and
then hit another vehicle at the scene of the accident. The Audi TT then sort of
bounced off that vehicle flying into the corner of the house where it stuck. The
emergency services arrived at the scene to find a man in his 20′s trapped inside the
car which had actually ‘stuck’ to the corner of the building. The car is a good four or
five feet from the ground so this is a good indication that the car was most likely
speeding at the time. Audi’s are known for being fast cars- could the driver have
lacked the experienced needed to handle a car with the Audi’s capabilities? In any
case both the Audi TT and the car in the drive way are now complete write offs. There
were people in the house at the time that the accident happened- thankfully none of
them were hurt.

2. The road was instantly closed off by the police and the injured driver was taken to a
nearby hospital with severe head injuries. In the meantime engineers have been
called to take a look at the damaged house, as a big part of the structure has been
destroyed with the sheer force of the speeding vehicle that hit it.
