Short-Listing Software Solutions
As part of the research, 4 of the most popular property management software solutions were shortlisted and reviewed to
compare them alongside HoneyBadger. A feature wise review of the short-listed products were performed and each
product was then rated on a scale of 1 -9 (1 Equal Capability, 5 Strong Capability and 9 very Strong Capability. ) for each
of the key features identified during the research.
Pairwise Comparison using AHP Priorities (Analytic Hierarchy Process)
Evaluating the findings from the research and scoring the factors such as usability and feature wise capability required a
comprehensive and methodical approach. The strategy behind using this approach was to convert these evaluations into
numerical values that can be processed and compared to determine the overall rating of each software solution under
review.
This is achieved by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process which is a structured technique for organizing and analyzing
complex decisions, based on mathematics and psychology. This technique has been used in this research to do a
pairwise comparison to measure the individual feature wise capability rating of each software solution.
