Con la crisis económica, el envío de remesas por inmigrantes se ha reducido un 20%, afectando a los locutorios. Ahora hay demasiados locutorios en el barrio compitiendo por menos clientes. A Yessica le gustan las películas de princesas, las muñecas y las Barbies, y disfruta jugar y vestirse a la moda.
Concierto de Hurdes Folk en Ecocentros
El documento presenta el programa para un evento de música folk que tendrá lugar el martes 26 de mayo de 2009. El programa incluye 7 actuaciones musicales de diferentes agrupaciones como "Palos y Cacheras", "Los Quintos" y "Gerineldo". UofM Endorsement of Transblock
1) The University purchased Transblock UPS systems to address unidentifiable electrical issues that were causing server restarts and high battery replacement costs in their Engineering Department.
2) Since installing the Transblock UPS systems in August 2008, the University has not experienced any further adverse electrical conditions or needed to replace batteries.
3) As a result of being happy with the Transblock UPS system performance, the University plans to upgrade existing power equipment and incorporate Transblock technology into two new learning labs to protect equipment and reduce downtime.

A teacher instructs students to draw a circle with a central angle of 60 degrees and radius of 6 cm. They are asked to label the central angle <AOB, connect the chord AB, and shade the region between the chord and arc. The teacher then asks students to find the area of the shaded region.
Adopt Adapt or Abandon? Instructors' Decisions to Use Research-Based Materials
This is from my talk at AAPT 2011
Physics education researchers often develop materials for classroom use. Instructors then choose which of those materials they would like to implement. We present a case study of University of Colorado’s transformed junior E&M course. After the transformation work in Sp/Fa 2008, 4 subsequent instructors of this course decided which materials – such as tutorials, clicker questions, or use of documented student difficulties – to use. Based on detailed interviews of those instructors, we examine what was and was not sustained, and discuss aspects of the course materials that enabled sustainability across instructors. We also present examples of less successful implementation that provide useful feedback on the use of PER-based resources – both for educational researchers and for the instructors making use of these instructional techniques.
Aimia reports fourth quarter & full year results
- Aimia achieved or surpassed its guidance for all metrics in 2013, with strong underlying performance across regions.
- Gross billings grew 4.5% on a constant currency basis for the year. Adjusted EBITDA was $350.5 million for the year, excluding conveyance items.
- Free cash flow was above guidance at $268.1 million for the year, excluding conveyance items. The company also continued growing its annual common share dividends.
