This SPL is intended to explain how to effectively use the HMI
alarm screen.
 As seen in the picture above, the main screen gives several menu or “soft key” options
for operator equipment interface.
 Using the image below as a reference, you may encounter the HMI screen for a
specific piece of equipment already open to a different menu or “soft key” screen
than what is needed. In this example, the HMI screen is open in the “Device
Overview” menu option.
 Within the Device Overview ONLY the most recent alarms are given. Using the
example above, notice the fatal fault alarm message TS2301 Lift Slack Chain fault is
not viewable on this HMI screen.
IMPORTANT:
IT IS VITAL TO VIEW ALL ALARMS IN THE HMI SCREEN NOT JUST THE
MOST RECENT ALARMS. TO DO THIS YOU MUST PRESS THE
“ALARMS” BUTTON!!!
 Above is an image of the “Alarms” screen. Within this screen all active alarms are
displayed. Notice the TS2301 Lift Slack Chain fatal fault is now visible in the alarm
screen.
 When equipment faults are encountered, ALWAYS look for the first initial alarmthat
started the issue NOT just the most recent alarm. You may have to scroll down the
page if several alarms are given.
