However, without an inside look at the leading candidates to assume the CEO role, it is difficult for shareholders to tell whether the board has made the correct choice. In this Closer Look, we examine CEO succession events among the largest 100 companies over a ten-year period to determine what happens to the executives who were not selected (i.e., the “succession losers”) and how they perform relative to those who were selected (the “succession winners”).
We ask:
• Are the executives selected for the CEO role really better than those passed over?
• What are the implications for understanding the labor market for executive talent?
• Are differences in performance due to operating conditions or quality of available talent?
• Are boards better at identifying CEO talent than other research generally suggests?

DAĞITIM YERLERİNE
Bilindiği üzere; Sağlık Bakanlığı’nın 2013-2017 Stratejik Planında yer alan, “Bakanlığa
ve Bağlı Kuruluşlarına Bağlı Tesislerde Dijital Hastane Kavramını Oluşturmak ve
Yaygınlaştırmak” amacına uygun olarak Bakanlığımıza bağlı yataklı hizmet veren kurumların
uluslararası tek dijital hastane modellemesi olan “HIMSS EMRAM modeli” çerçevesinde
mevcut seviyelerinin tespit edilmesi, üst seviyelere çıkarmak için gerekli eğitim ve
yönlendirmenin yapılması, Seviye 6 ve 7 olan hastanelerin ise sertifikalandırılması amacıyla
Sağlık Bakanlığı ile HIMSS arasında 15 Kasım 2013 tarihinde mutabakat sağlanmış ve
karşılıklı işbirliği protokolü imzalanmıştır.
Bu protokol kapsamında; Bakanlığımızın ilgili birimlerinin ve bağlı kuruluşların
işbirliği ve katılımı ile iki yıldır düzenlenmekte olan “HIMSS Türkiye EMRAM Eğitim
Konferansı ve Sağlık Bilişim Fuarı” 26-27 Mayıs 2016 tarihlerinde İstanbul’da
gerçekleştirilecek olup etkinlikle ilgili detaylı bilgiye http://himssturkiye.com/tr/anasayfa/
