Regenerative Electrical Elevator:
Using the potential energy difference in the elevator to
regenerate energy to the electrical grid or it can be stored in
electrical batteries to use it to operate the elevator in the
case of the blackout or using it to operate other electrical
loads in the building.
Normal mode: the elevator machine operates as a motor and
takes energy from the grid.
Regenerative mode: the elevator machine operates as a
generator rotates by the weight difference between the car
and the counter weight.
