This document discusses healing from both physical and non-physical perspectives. It argues that healing is an internal process that requires shifting one's mindset and beliefs. True healing involves positive growth and leaving behind prior conditions. The solution to any "dis-ease" lies within through cultivating the right attitude and intentional behavior. Healing one's self can be accomplished by tapping into our inherent supernatural potential and the goodness that exists between our spiritual and physical nature.
2. Healing of any kind is a very personal
quest. It requires determination and
persistence. Whether your „dis-ease‟ is
physical, emotional, or a matter of
attitude, the solution is within you.
The journey inward to find solutions is a
topic that is revving up ideas at TIME
magazine (2/03/14 cover story).
3. The purpose of this article is to present a
point of view that will encourage a way of
looking at the world around you and
within you.
Healing is change. Healing should imply
avoiding the way things were before. The
experience of any illness should be as
much a learning experience as any of
life‟s challenges. In all likelihood, it is an
experience you would like to leave
behind, never to relive again.
4. With the proper attitude, mindset (or
belief set), the chances are good that
you will leave the nemesis behind.
Nonetheless, “we can‟t solve problems by
using the same kind of thinking we used
when we created them” –Albert Einstein.
5. Hence, true change requires a shift
(physical, emotional, in attitude, in
beliefs, or in practice). „Shift‟ is simply
another word for growth (ideally positive
change). Ultimately, we should endeavor
to grow in all possible (accessible) ways
from conception, through birth, and until
death.
6. How many of our unfortunate friends and
loved ones have lived through the
removal of a tumor only to be diagnosed
with cancer a year or two later?
How many times have these same loved
ones (even you) contracted an illness
only to accept it as “the way life is”.
7. Illnesses, physical conditions,
environments, and outcomes are the
final state of affairs for those whose
belief set would make it so. What do you
believe is possible?
There are countless testimonials of
individuals (and their witnesses) who
decided that the conditions of their
current lives would not and could not be
the end, the conclusion.
8. Through the power of intention, one‟s lot
in life may shift to something miraculous
and extraordinary. Again Albert Einstein:
“There are two ways to live: you can live
as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as
if everything is a miracle.” The power of
intention is said to have manifested
galaxies.
9. Yes, this is a literal interpretation of the
creation story, yet despite disagreements
about “how”, the scientific fact remains
that the prevalence of Fibonacci Numbers
and the Golden Ratio point to an
intentional creation system. All creation
resides under this umbrella.
10. In fact, intentional behavior in humans
bears a striking resemblance to the scripted
actions of God in the Creation Story of every
culture on Earth. We are indeed made in the
image and likeness of God. In fact, the Spirit
or Son of God is in each of us (Acts 17:11, 2
Corinthians 13:5). Just as the salt of the sea
is in each drop of water in the ocean (and
collectively determines its volume), the
power of God animates and populates every
aspect of our being. Collectively, we are the
physical manisfestation of God Almighty.
11. Supernatural potential is in our physical
and spiritual DNA. With regards to
physical healing, it is a scientific fact that
our bodies are able to self- medicate.
There is an intricate system within us
that serves to immunize and otherwise
fight or ward off imbalance and „disease‟.
12. Between Father God and Mother Earth,
we have all of the goodness and potential
(that the universe has to offer) built-in at
birth. If a farmer‟s family was hungry
and there was food in the field that need
only be harvested, would they harvest it
and nourish themselves? Likewise, if you
held within you the ability to be, do, or
have anything you desired if you would
only believe with all of your heart and
soul, would you harvest the potential and
turn it into action and results?
13. This is healing in the true sense of the
word. Our belief system, its definitions of
what is possible, important, and valuable
are learned. It doesn‟t mean that they
are true and absolute.
Think about it. Remember this quote by
Alvin Toffler: “Tomorrow‟s illiterate will
not be the man who can‟t read; he will
be the man who has not learned how to
learn.”
14. The most accessible “how” in life relates
to pursuing the learning process. Find
your best process for awakening,
empowering, and continuing education.
Life is the university with the highest
accreditation. Its tuition fee is time and
attention. We can all afford it too.
15. So, healing is a matter of attitude and
the solution is within you. Test your
beliefs. Be willing to let go of your
preconceived notions (prejudices) long
enough to make an unbiased assessment
of what‟s relevant to any and every belief
you hold.
16. If there is enough courage within you to
brave this impasse, continuing education
in Life‟s University will provide guidance
to accomplish the rest. Time and
attention will build momentum. In the
education process, you learn that
intentional means unstoppable.
