STUDENT PROFILE
I love a challenge, being active and achieving the best I can; this course has
definitely ticked all these boxes. Highlights of my course include sailing a tall
ship in stormy conditions from Kent to France, encouraging individuals to overcome
their fears at Cannington Activity Centre and raising money for the charity MotorEds
by advising people of the dangers of drink driving.
Lauren is set to achieve a Distinction in her Foundation Degree in Public Services with Outdoor Education and is
going to top-up her qualification to a Degree at the Plymouth University. She gained valuable work experience
at Cannington Activity Centre but has always dreamt of being a paramedic.
