1. Warm-Up:
On a continuum chart, rate your background
knowledge on Jim Crow Laws, Segregation, or
America in the 1930’s on a 1-10 scale. In a brief three
sentence response, explain why you gave yourself
that rating.

4. Process:
- Each room has 3 different stations: You will get a chance to
preview and take notes on each station
- When you get to your first session, divide yourselves up into 3
groups (no more than 6 people at one station)
- Select something to read and take notes on: when you are done
with one piece of information, return it to the folder and select a
different one
- You will be given 10 minutes at each station (your teacher for
that session will let you know when it is time to move on to the
next station)
- You are expected to have information on all 9 topics
