They eat in a small café
They dance as well
They’re having great fun
But it comes to an abrupt end
Several men in black suits bear down on them
And soon they’re on the run
She follows him hurriedly into a cave

For goodness’ sake, the man’s a vampire
And right before he sinks his teeth into her neck
She jerks awake and laughs
Her dreams got carries away, again
She meets with the same man
And they go to a costume party
It is there that they are caught by
The dreaded men in black suits
Ironically, they are all dressed as executioners

4. They have to make a run for it
So they do just that
There is a helicopter conveniently placed outside
They have to hurry
The men are right on their tails!
They reach the helicopter
The woman dashes into the plane
And urges the man to follow suit
He is so close
Yet it’s too far
He is right about to reach the plane
When BAM!
He is shot, a target finally hit
And voila
The movie is produced
In three short days
The writers applaud themselves
Their story is complete
I watch the credits roll for Paris when it sizzles
As I turn off the television
I can’t help but wonder
What the hell just happened?
