Good leadership knows how to shift gears. Justin Trudeau took over an economy that was growing at 2.3% per year post-2009 recession. Trudeau decided to help the economy through his stimulus. The problem is that Trudeau policies never addressed issues with productivity, innovation, skills gap, tax fairness, and delivery program spending with value for money.
Canada GDP per capita has trail countries like Qatar. Canada economy would be doing much better with high commodity prices but LPC policies like C69 have either led to cancelation of projects or a slow approval process of new mines
Trudeau also continues to throw money at various programs despite audits and PBO reports saying the programs either are ineffective. Trudeau only seems to care when a report supports his narrative. Trudeau refuses to do a complete spending review as he believes in big and expensive government.
The so-called carbon tax has made lives less affordable to many Canadians

The total value of shipments of minerals showed a decrease in April, followed by two consecutive monthly increases. The total value of minerals shipped declined 17.6% in April to $3.47 billion from March, driven by a decrease in metallic minerals. In May, the total value of shipments of minerals rose 4.7% to $3.63 billion, led by an increase in the value of shipments of both metallic and non-metallic minerals. Finally, the value of shipments of metallic minerals saw a large increase (+10.3%) in June, which more than offset a slight decrease in non-metallic minerals. This resulted in an 8.4% increase of the total value of shipments of minerals.
Overall, the total value of shipments of minerals nearly doubled in the second quarter of 2021 compared with the same period in 2020. Higher shipment values for gold, iron ore and copper were mainly responsible for the gain.

Canada is one of the world leaders in natural gas. The previous Harper provided solid policies to better support LNG. Justin Trudeau came to office and decided that metals, forestry, agriculture, non-metals, oil, hydrogen, critical metals, lithium, natural gas, and others were not going to be his priority.
Canada is world leader in hydrogen production. The problem bulk of hydrogen production comes from the production on fossil fuels. Justin Trudeau team continues to push expensive solar and wind farms. Wind farms and solar can produce hydrogen. The problem is the cost to build out the infrastructure.
Natural gas prices continue to rise due to supply constraints

Justin Trudeau has refused to pause his tax hikes despite record breaking inflation. Trudeau policies have hurt many classes of people as well as made Canada less competitive than it was in 2015. The United States is now the #1 jurisdiction for FDI.

Justin Trudeau and his team keeps saying they are making things more affordable. The problem is facts show many households no matter their income is struggling with high cost of living. Trudeau refuses to either canceled the carbon tax or pause the hikes.
Trudeau told the world in 2015 that Canada should be know for its resourcefulness. The problem since 2016 the standard of living in Canada has decline. Trudeauâs deficits did little to address issues with productivity, innovation, skills gap, and supply chain. Trudeau could have made Canada natural resources sector a global leader but chose to expand government including social programs. https://www.slideshare.net/paulyoungcga/2019-election-world-economy-slow-growth-canada-july-2019 or https://www.slideshare.net/paulyoungcga/gdp-and-economic-analysis-canada-and-the-world-july-2022pptx
The middle class has not seen issue with both cost of living and housing in over 40 years. Trudeau refuses to acknowledge there are issues. Trudeau has decided to throw more gasoline on the fire by rushing out programs like dental care without proper checks and balances.
Immigration is also a mess. Sean Fraser has done little to address issues with previous audit reports as it relates to immigration fraud.
Chrystia Freeland talks about the green transition. The green transition has been happening for years. Trudeau foreign policies have also been a disaster. Freeland said recently that they are doing a reset on foreign policies

Justin Trudeau is great at promising the world but not so great at delivering results. Canadians need to keep pushing their elected representatives that Canada needs a new path. The progressive agenda is a failure. It is time to bring government to center and focus on delivering program spending with value for money along focusing on economic and tax policies that will drive FDI in areas like technology, mining, energy, forestry, agriculture, manufacturing, retail, construction, etc.

Overall, the total value of shipments of minerals nearly doubled in the second quarter of 2021 compared with the same period in 2020. Higher shipment values for gold, iron ore and copper were mainly responsible for the gain.

Blog â Natural Gas Distribution and Transmission â Canada and the World â August 2022

Global Housing Market Analysis and Commentary- September 2023.pptxpaul young cpa, cga
Â
Summary:
Homebuilders are walking a fine line when it comes to new projects as high mortgage rates curb demand.
New residential construction, including single-family homes and multifamily, dropped 11.3% month over month in August to 1.283 million units on a seasonally adjusted basis, according to Census Bureau data released Tuesday. That's down 14.8% compared with a year ago and well below the 1.44 million units economists surveyed by Bloomberg projected.
But authorized residential permits â an indicator of potential future activity â rose 6.9% to 1.543 million permits in August from July. That was still down 2.7% from last August. Single-family permits, though, were up 2% from July to 949,000. Multifamily permits came in at 535,000.
The data reflects two opposing forces builders are trying to balance: the ongoing need for new construction to fill in limited inventory and elevated mortgage rates that are hurting their biggest customer right now, the first-time homebuyer.
"High mortgage rates are clearly taking a toll on builder confidence and consumer demand, as a growing number of buyers are electing to defer a home purchase until long-term rates move lower," Robert Dietz, chief economist of the National Association of Home Builders, said Monday in a press release after builder confidence dropped for the second straight month.

Blog â Manufacturing Shipments and Orders â The United States â August 2023
Summary:
New orders for manufacturing technology in the United States totaled $353.9 million in July 2023, as per the latest report by AMT â The Association For Manufacturing Technology. This figure marked a 12.4% decline from June 2023 but remained only 10.5% lower than July 2022. Year-to-date orders amounted to $2.83 billion, reflecting a 12.7% decrease compared to the same period the previous year.
Douglas K. Woods, President of AMT, noted that July is typically a slower month for manufacturing technology orders, so a slight drop was expected. However, he pointed out a notable trend: over the last two months, the year-to-date order gap has narrowed during historically slow periods. While job shops have seen decreased orders, other industries that benefited from reshoring or government investments have helped fill the gap.
Among specific sectors, job shops, the largest customer segment, placed their lowest total monthly orders since August 2020. In contrast, metal valve manufacturers recorded their third-highest monthly order value on record, last seen in September 2018, making up nearly 5% of the total manufacturing technology order value for July 2023. Manufacturers of motor vehicle transmissions continued to order machinery at an elevated pace. However, the aerospace industry continued to order below its early 2022 peaks, with hopes that recent projects like the federal government's $1.5 billion investment in communications satellites might reverse this trend.

Summary:
Stocks fell Friday as investors wrap up a volatile week ahead of the Federal Reserve's policy meeting.
The Dow Jones Industrials tumbled 288.87 points to close out Friday and the week at 34,618.24. At its lows, it completely wiped out Thursday's 332-point rally.
The S&P 500 index sank 54.78 points, or 1.2%, to 4,450.32.
The NASDAQ index plunged 217.72 points, or 1.6%, to 13,708.33.
The Dow held onto a winning week. The S&P 500 and NASDAQ both closed out the week with losses.
Information technology was the worst-performing sector in the S&P 500, down nearly 2%. Adobe shares fell more than 4% even after the software firm posted better-than-expected quarterly results. Shares of Arm Holdings were lower one day after its successful public debut.
Auto stocks General Motors and Stellantis N.V. were higher Friday, while Ford Motor was about flat. Thousands of members of the United Auto Workers went on strike after failing to reach a deal with the automakers Thursday night.
Elsewhere, Lennar shares slid 3%. The home construction firm posted third-quarter results that beat on the top and bottom lines.
On the economic front, the University of Michigan's consumer sentiment survey showed one-year inflation expectations dropped to 3.1% in
September, tied for the lowest since January 2021. Also, the five-year outlook fell to 2.7%, matching its lowest since December 2020.
Electricity Analysis - Canada and the OECD - June 2023.pptxpaul young cpa, cga
Â
Summary:
Over three-quarters of the worldâs total coal-generated electricity is consumed in just three countries. China is the top user of coal, making up 53.3% of global coal demand, followed by India at 13.6%, and the U.S. at 8.9%.
Burning coalâfor electricity, as well as metallurgy and cement productionâis the worldâs single largest source of CO2 emissions. Nevertheless, its use in electricity generation has actually grown 91.2% since 1997, the year when the first global climate agreement was signed in Kyoto, Japan.
However, even as non-renewables enjoy their time in the sun, their days could be numbered.
In 2022, renewables, such as wind, solar, and geothermal, represented 14.4% of total electricity generation with an extraordinary annual growth rate of 14.7%, driven by big gains in solar and wind. Non-renewables, by contrast, only managed an anemic 0.4%.
The authors of the Statistical Review do not include hydroelectric in their renewable calculations, even though many others, including the International Energy Agency, consider it a âwell-established renewable power technology.â
With hydroelectric moved into the renewable column, together they accounted for over 29.3% of all electricity generated in 2022, with an annual growth rate of 7.4%.

There is more focus on profitability and investment returns as part of the integrated planning and reporting cycle.
Summary:
The global economy faces what at least one forecaster is calling a mild trade recession as shipments from China slump and German factories downshift.
Chinaâs export declines extended into August, though there were signs that the worst of a world trade slowdown may be over for the leading exporter.
Overseas shipments from China fell 8.8% in dollar terms from a year earlier while imports contracted 7.3%, both better than economistsâ estimates and significantly less severe than Julyâs downturn.
Other data have suggested trade may be stabilizing after weakening for most of this year. Exports from South Korea also declined at a more moderate pace in August than the previous month.

Financial Assets: Debit vs Equity Securities.pptxWrito-Finance
Â
financial assets represent claim for future benefit or cash. Financial assets are formed by establishing contracts between participants. These financial assets are used for collection of huge amounts of money for business purposes.
Two major Types: Debt Securities and Equity Securities.
Debt Securities are Also known as fixed-income securities or instruments. The type of assets is formed by establishing contracts between investor and issuer of the asset.
⢠The first type of Debit securities is BONDS. Bonds are issued by corporations and government (both local and national government).
⢠The second important type of Debit security is NOTES. Apart from similarities associated with notes and bonds, notes have shorter term maturity.
⢠The 3rd important type of Debit security is TRESURY BILLS. These securities have short-term ranging from three months, six months, and one year. Issuer of such securities are governments.
⢠Above discussed debit securities are mostly issued by governments and corporations. CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSITS CDs are issued by Banks and Financial Institutions. Risk factor associated with CDs gets reduced when issued by reputable institutions or Banks.
Following are the risk attached with debt securities: Credit risk, interest rate risk and currency risk
There are no fixed maturity dates in such securities, and assetâs value is determined by companyâs performance. There are two major types of equity securities: common stock and preferred stock.
ď Common Stock: These are simple equity securities and bear no complexities which the preferred stock bears. Holders of such securities or instrument have the voting rights when it comes to select the companyâs board of director or the business decisions to be made.
ď Preferred Stock: Preferred stocks are sometime referred to as hybrid securities, because it contains elements of both debit security and equity security. Preferred stock confers ownership rights to security holder that is why it is equity instrument
Equity securities as a whole is used for capital funding for companies. Companies have multiple expenses to cover. Potential growth of company is required in competitive market. So, these securities are used for capital generation, and then uses it for companyâs growth.
Concluding remarks
Both are employed in business. Businesses are often established through debit securities, then what is the need for equity securities. Companies have to cover multiple expenses and expansion of business. They can also use equity instruments for repayment of debits. So, there are multiple uses for securities. As an investor, you need tools for analysis. Investment decisions are made by carefully analyzing the market. For better analysis of the stock market, investors often employ financial analysis of companies.

Pi has not yet been launched on any exchange because we are currently using the confined Mainnet. The planned launch date for Pi is June 28, 2026.

how can i use my minded pi coins I need some funds.DOT TECH
Â
If you are interested in selling your pi coins, i have a verified pi merchant, who buys pi coins and resell them to exchanges looking forward to hold till mainnet launch.
Because the core team has announced that pi network will not be doing any pre-sale. The only way exchanges like huobi, bitmart and hotbit can get pi is by buying from miners.
Now a merchant stands in between these exchanges and the miners. As a link to make transactions smooth. Because right now in the enclosed mainnet you can't sell pi coins your self. You need the help of a merchant,
i will leave the telegram contact of my personal pi merchant below. đ I and my friends has traded more than 3000pi coins with him successfully.
@Pi_vendor_247
What price will pi network be listed on exchangesDOT TECH
Â
The rate at which pi will be listed is practically unknown. But due to speculations surrounding it the predicted rate is tends to be from 30$ â 50$.
So if you are interested in selling your pi network coins at a high rate tho. Or you can't wait till the mainnet launch in 2026. You can easily trade your pi coins with a merchant.
A merchant is someone who buys pi coins from miners and resell them to Investors looking forward to hold massive quantities till mainnet launch.
I will leave the telegram contact of my personal pi vendor to trade with.
@Pi_vendor_247
when will pi network coin be available on crypto exchange.DOT TECH
Â
There is no set date for when Pi coins will enter the market.
However, the developers are working hard to get them released as soon as possible.
Once they are available, users will be able to exchange other cryptocurrencies for Pi coins on designated exchanges.
But for now the only way to sell your pi coins is through verified pi vendor.
Here is the telegram contact of my personal pi vendor

The European Unemployment Puzzle: implications from population agingGRAPE
Â
We study the link between the evolving age structure of the working population and unemployment. We build a large new Keynesian OLG model with a realistic age structure, labor market frictions, sticky prices, and aggregate shocks. Once calibrated to the European economy, we quantify the extent to which demographic changes over the last three decades have contributed to the decline of the unemployment rate. Our findings yield important implications for the future evolution of unemployment given the anticipated further aging of the working population in Europe. We also quantify the implications for optimal monetary policy: lowering inflation volatility becomes less costly in terms of GDP and unemployment volatility, which hints that optimal monetary policy may be more hawkish in an aging society. Finally, our results also propose a partial reversal of the European-US unemployment puzzle due to the fact that the share of young workers is expected to remain robust in the US.
what is the best method to sell pi coins in 2024DOT TECH
Â
The best way to sell your pi coins safely is trading with an exchange..but since pi is not launched in any exchange, and second option is through a VERIFIED pi merchant.
Who is a pi merchant?
A pi merchant is someone who buys pi coins from miners and pioneers and resell them to Investors looking forward to hold massive amounts before mainnet launch in 2026.
I will leave the telegram contact of my personal pi merchant to trade pi coins with.

PRESENTATION TITLE 22
Summary:
I have written many presentations and blogs over the years on transforming the public sector. The public sector needs
to reform its model including stronger crisis and risk management planning and analysis, creating new a compliance
group that ensure all oversight agencies are free from partisan policies, governments need to learn to live within its
means, all program spending should undertake a program review, taxation focus should be on tax fairness, policies
should address issues like wage reform or pension reform or other reforms.

85. SMALLER GOVERNMENT
