Harold Light served heroically in the Korean War as a member of the United States Air Force, spending 31 years in service from 1948 to the present day. During his service, he trained in California before being stationed seven minutes from the front lines in Korea and later served at various bases throughout the U.S. Since 2000, he has helped with over 1,000 military funerals and ceremonies through his involvement with Veterans Alliance Inc. For his bravery and dedication to serving his country, Harold Light is recognized as a true "Hometown Hero" in Forsyth County, where he continues to live with his family.
