In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Exploring the Mindfulness Understanding Its Benefits.pptxMartaLoveguard
Slide 1: Title: Exploring the Mindfulness: Understanding Its Benefits
Slide 2: Introduction to Mindfulness
Mindfulness, defined as the conscious, non-judgmental observation of the present moment, has deep roots in Buddhist meditation practice but has gained significant popularity in the Western world in recent years. In today's society, filled with distractions and constant stimuli, mindfulness offers a valuable tool for regaining inner peace and reconnecting with our true selves. By cultivating mindfulness, we can develop a heightened awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and surroundings, leading to a greater sense of clarity and presence in our daily lives.
Slide 3: Benefits of Mindfulness for Mental Well-being
Practicing mindfulness can help reduce stress and anxiety levels, improving overall quality of life.
Mindfulness increases awareness of our emotions and teaches us to manage them better, leading to improved mood.
Regular mindfulness practice can improve our ability to concentrate and focus our attention on the present moment.
Slide 4: Benefits of Mindfulness for Physical Health
Research has shown that practicing mindfulness can contribute to lowering blood pressure, which is beneficial for heart health.
Regular meditation and mindfulness practice can strengthen the immune system, aiding the body in fighting infections.
Mindfulness may help reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and obesity by reducing stress and improving overall lifestyle habits.
Slide 5: Impact of Mindfulness on Relationships
Mindfulness can help us better understand others and improve communication, leading to healthier relationships.
By focusing on the present moment and being fully attentive, mindfulness helps build stronger and more authentic connections with others.
Mindfulness teaches us how to be present for others in difficult times, leading to increased compassion and understanding.
Slide 6: Mindfulness Techniques and Practices
Focusing on the breath and mindful breathing can be a simple way to enter a state of mindfulness.
Body scan meditation involves focusing on different parts of the body, paying attention to any sensations and feelings.
Practicing mindful walking and eating involves consciously focusing on each step or bite, with full attention to sensory experiences.
Slide 7: Incorporating Mindfulness into Daily Life

Mindfulness has the power to change our perspective and way of perceiving the world, leading to deeper se
3. The root cause of global recession is, the
individualistic and tubular perspective in
different fields, which leads to sectarian and
mutually antagonistic “development”. This
“development” embodies; actually;
multiplication and cancerous growth of
vested interests, petty pursuits and
retrogressive destructive forces in politics,
economics, environment etc.
Production and creation of what is
conducive to holistic health i.e. global
welfare or blossoming together; in the fields
of law, health, education, agriculture,
4. housing etc. is actually conducive to healthy
growth of
the businesses and economic well being of
people.
But instead, in present conditions; the
production and the capital investment
required; revolves around unproductive
glamour, wasteful glitter, petty
luxuriousness, cheap entertainment and
mean achievements; which are glorified!
This is followed by the sale of such
antihuman products, which is promoted
through deceptive and dishonest media hype
and aggressive and mutually exploitative
5. (consider the colossal wastage of money,
power and human energy in beauty
competitions, promos of cinema and so on)
marketing; mostly opposing the business
interests of even one another! Hence the
industrial growth soon slows down.
Everyone of us; being vulnerable and weak;
due to the stupefying influence of totally
deceptive glorification of petty and
superficial glamour and glitter; gets
tempted and driven by the lust for profits!
Hence the economy booms for some time
due to frantic investments and begins to
collapse as the number of consumers keeps
6. reducing to due to sectarian profiteering
and deprivation of billions (whose buying
power gets desiccated/atrophied) and the
share prices begin to dwindle.
Since the money pumped in these
businesses, whether by governments or
investors’, is essentially peoples’ money
[which would have been potentially be
useful for the global development] the
common people all over the world suffer
maximum, the investors suffer to some
extent; because they still have buffering
power and the business houses with much
greater buffering power; suffer least!
7. Hence to manage global recession;
1. The students have to be introduced to
the measures such as hymns, prayers
and NAMASMARAN for their
spiritual growth right from the
beginning.
2. The productive domain must be
nurtured and wasteful learning of
unproductive activities must be
reduced drastically.
3. The agricultural, horticultural and
medicinal herb production must be
increased and made profitable.
8. 4. The production of gas, petrol and
diesel driven private vehicles must be
drastically reduced. The production of
number of trains and buses has to be
increased according to the needs.
5. These are broad outlines and directions.
The details can be worked out by
experts in these different fields; with
global perspective. For having global
perspective and overcoming sectarian
bias; they need to practice measures to
grow and blossom from within! For this
a mega process of spiritual renaissance
is required. For this to happen; practice
of NAMSMARAN by billions of people
all over the world; is urgently required.
BUT
9. WHAT IS NAMASMARAN?
Namasmaran means; remembering the name
of God, Guru, great souls; such as prophets
and holy objects such as planets and stars. It
may be remembered silently, loudly, along
with music, dance, along with breathing, in
group or alone, either with counting by
rosary (called SMARANI or JAPAMALA)
or without counting. The traditions vary
from region to region and from religion to
religion.
However the universal principle underlying
NAMASMARAN is to reorient your
physiological being with your true self. In
fact while reorienting with true self you aim
to establish and strengthen the bond or
connection; between; your physiological
being; with your true self. You aim at
reunification with yourself!
10. Since remembering your true self is the
pinnacle of or culmination of individual
consciousness, and individual consciousness
is the culmination of every activity in life,
remembering any name of God or Guru (any
symbol of your true self) is equivalent to
opening the final common pathway for the
individual consciousness associated with
every possible activity to get funneled into or
unified with objective or cosmic
consciousness.
Thus NAMASMARAN is in fact the
YOGA of YOGA in the sense that it is the
culmination of consciousness associated with
every possible procedure and technique in
the yoga that you are familiar with. It is the
YOGA of YOGA because it is the
culmination of consciousness associated with
all the activities in the universe, which it
encompasses as well! It is YOGA of YOGA
11. because everybody in the world irrespective
of his/her tradition and the beliefs; would
eventually, ultimately and naturally reach it
it; in the process of liberation. Even so called
non believers also would not “miss” the
“benefit of remembering the true self
through one symbol or another”!
Just as NAMASMARAN is YOGA of YOGA
it is meditation of meditation also! It is the
natural and ultimate climax of every form of
meditation.
These facts however have to be realized with
persistent practice of NAMSMARAN and
not blindly believed or blindly disbelieved
with casual approach!
In short NAMSMARAN is super-bounty of
cosmic consciousness for every individual to
12. realize it (cosmic consciousness)! This is truly
a super-bounty because a person who
experiences it, rises above mercenary,
commercial and even professional and
charity planes and manifest super-
transactions in his or her life!
These are just few observations to give rough
idea about what is NAMASMARAN.
NAMASMARAN is an ocean of bliss. Its true
meaning is beyond description in words and
has to b experienced, most preferably, by
billions!
