MR. PRATHAMESH D. POPAT

Prathamesh D popat is founder of PRACHI
(Prachi Resolutionary, Adjudicatory And
Conflict Handling Initiatives) and a member of
the Bombay Bar Association, a leading
organisation of practicing lawyers. He started
his practice as a counsel at the Bombay High
Court in the chambers of Aspandiar P Chinoy,
Sr. Counsel.
Empanelled as a Mediator at the Bombay High
Court in 2003, he does court-annexed as well as
private mediations of a wide variety, ranging
from family to commercial disputes, domestic
as well as trans - border.
Trained and accredited by LEADR and certified
by IMI (International Mediation Institute) he
continues to enhance his skills by undergoing
further trainings from time to time at
workshops conducted by reputed institutions
like Harvard and Pepperdine and organisations
like ABA, APMF and LEADR. He also conducts
basic & advanced training workshops in
mediation and is a visiting faculty for ADR
courses at several institutes and organisations.
Prathamesh is the chairman of the Mediation &
Conciliation Committee of the IMC chamber of
commerce and industry, a century-old leading
Chamber of Commerce.
He is also a founding member of the very
recently launched 'Association Of Mediation
Practitioners'.
