In this project we will make a Tourist Album where we will talk about all the tourist places that you can find in the Guaviare Department. In this project you will find a brief description of the different places to visit, in addition we want to show warnings and precautions that you must have so that you have an excellent walk. In this project we have decided to work in a tourist album, because we are proud of the natural and cultural wealth that we have in our department, and making these riches visible is a sign of showing our respect for them.

3. Puente Nowen
The bridge of Nowen is the
door of the apartment, from
where you can contemplate
beautiful sunsets and
sunrises. It has a length of
915 meters.

4. Pozos naturales
Waters of various colors flow
through of wells and underground
grottoes carved on the rock.
The attraction is 8 km from San
José del Guaviare, on the Nuevo
Tolima road.

5. In these rocks the pictorial
testimony is grouped of language,
beliefs and symbols of the first
inhabitants settled in the
Colombian southeast.
National scientists and
international ensure that the
paintings exceed 1,000 years of
existence, data that is based on the
study of the mineral pigments with
which they were elaborated.
They are located on the road to La
Carpa (Cerro Azul village), 47
kilometers from the capital of the
department of Guaviare.

6. Ciudad de piedra
According to experts in the field,
these rock formations correspond to
the Precambrian period.
In this place we can observe the
rocks in the shape of labyrinths,
caves, walls, streets, monuments
and passages, from there his name.
It is located 15 km from San José del
Guaviare, by way of El Capricho.

7. Damas del Nare
lagoon
In the Damas del Nare lagoon,
you will discover how the pink
freshwater dolphin or tonina
(Inia Geofrensis) lives
harmoniously among its waters,
who waits to delight with its
figures, dances and games to
visitors who have lived a
unique experience.
It is located 70 kilometers from
San Jose del Guaviare, crossing
majestic savannahs, trails like
El Morro and El Boqueron.

8. Charco Indio
He is bathed by the Lindosa
current and receives his name
because he is on the farm of a
man they called "the Indian".
It is located 7 km from San
José del Guaviare, on the road
to Nuevo Tolima. Getting
there can take seven minutes,
approximately.

9. Tuneles de
piedra y Jacuzzi
Natural stone deposit, which
resembles a jacuzzi belonging
to the stone tunnels, "rock
formations in positions that
defy gravity". The visitor will
find enigmatic caverns,
biodiversity and in general, a
panorama that requires
respect, care and admiration for
nature.

Jose de Guaviare via Nueva
Tolima in the serrania la
lindosa.

10. Las Delicias
waterfall
A waterfall of 27 m has turned
this scenario into a nucleus of
tourists and locals who
congregate in search of
adventure and fun. Climbing,
rope descent, hiking and
vegetation, among other
alternatives, are part of an
experience full of adrenaline and
ecological awareness in the
middle of the capital panorama.
This attraction is located 17 km
from the capital Guaviarense, via
Villavicencio.

11. La lindosa
This natural attraction, 100 m long
and 80 m wide, is located in the
area bordering the La Lindosa
mountain range. For more than
four decades locals and visitors
have congregated to enjoy the
crystal-clear waters and other
scenarios that surround the place.
The spa, ideal for rest and
recreation, is located 6 km from
San Jose de Guaviare, by the Nuevo
Tolima road.

12. Laguna negra
Its name obeys the dark tone of
its waters seen from the air.
Already on land, there is a
scenario of crystal clear water,
according to experts, because
of the thick vegetation that
surrounds it. In the lagoon,
sports activity has increased
recently. Kayaking and sailing,
among other practices, are part
of the new offer.

13. Puerta de Orión
This imposing stone, 12 m
high and 15 m in its
semicircular base, it has two
overlapping entries. The place
is constituted by labyrinths,
cavities and cornices, which

for all lovers of adventure.
It is 9 km from San José del
Guaviare, on the road to
Puerto Arturo.

14. Pinturas

(Nueva Tolima)
Several stages of the capital
are erected as evidence of the
millennial past Guaviarense,
this attraction is located about
1500 m of climbing.

15. Puentes
naturales

16. Raudal del
Guayabero
Although it is navigable
during all year round, the
summer time is the more
indicated to cross it. Through
the travel you can see the gray
water dolphin sweet or tonina
(Sotalia Fluviatilis), as they
call the inhabitants of the
region.
Going up the Guaviare River,
we arrive at the Guayabero
River where approximately
38 km away through the
water we reach this wonder.

17. Tranquilandia
His name identifies, without a
doubt, the essence of the
capital's attractions.
This spa natural, in a riparian
zone of Retiro river, represents a
space full of tranquility,
vegetation, recreation and
culture environmental. Installed
there, the visitor will appreciate
a show of colors, green, pink,
lilac and red, which they cover
the surface of the spa. The
phenomenon, the experts say,
there is by the growth of algae in
sweet water.
This is 11 km from the capital, by
the via Villavicencio.

18. Guaviare river
beaches
Although they only appear in the
summer season, these are one of
the favorite places for visitors
and locals to go camping. From
there you can appreciate the
wonder of the sunsets of the
eastern plains.
