What is PULSE?
My PULSE assignment
 PULSE is a GSK volunteering initiative, where interested employees are
matched to a non-profit organization, contributing with their skills, to help solve
healthcare challenges.
 PULSE program has tree missions: Change Communities, Change Yourself
and Change GSK.
 The program is open to all company employees as different type of skills are
required and the candidates are accepted after a selection process.
 I was assigned during 6 months (from July to December 2016) to Fundacion
Conin, an Argentine NGO dedicated to eradicate children malnutrition
 I´m based in Buenos Aires suburbs, (home assignment) supporting 2 Conin
peripheral sites, one in Vicente Lopez and the other in San Isidro districts

My PULSE tasks
 Support Conin Vicente Lopez and San Isidro´s directors on reviewing staff
roles and responsibilities vs Conin procedures.
 Update job descriptions based on Conin manual to define expected roles
and responsibilities for each employee.
 Define organization flowchart and reporting lines according to optimize
human resources management
 Create flowcharts for key processes based on Conin SOPs, to facilitate the
correct implementation
 Support Executive Board on the generation of funds proposals.
 Train people on Conin SOPs manual, identify possible gaps on current
processes and generate interventions for improvement
 Support on improving medical record´s quality .
