GRR Lesson: Cell Phone Review (April 2, 2014)
- 1. Cell Phones at ESMS
- 2. Video Do you think it is an epidemic? Video
- 3. Cell phones are not to be used, displayed, or turned on during the regular school day. This includes instructional time, class change time, breakfast, or lunch.
- 4. You MAY use your phone before the 7:10 am bell or after the 2:27 bell. You MAY use your phone during the school day at a designated GRR incentive.
- 5. If you are seen using your phone at any time during the day it will be confiscated and turned in to the office.
- 6. 1st Time: Warning, pick up at the end of the day. 2nd Time: Detention, a parent must pick up your phone. Any other time: 1 day of SLC, a parent must pick up your phone.
- 7. School is a place to learn. Apps, texting and games on phones will distract you and take time away from your learning.
- 8. What do coaches have to say about using cell phones. Video One VideoTwo
- 9. If you need to contact a parent for any reason, please ask to use the classroom phone or office phone. Please ask your parents not to text you. The office will send you a message if they call.
- 10. ESMS does allow e-readers and tablets for reading.
