Gospel order 16-20 - tithes and offerings god's invitationSami Wilberforce
This document discusses the biblical principles of tithes and offerings. It emphasizes that offerings should be given freely and cheerfully, not under compulsion. While God requires tithes, offerings should be made voluntarily according to what one purposes in their heart. The early church supported preachers and cared for widows through systematic benevolence. In the last days, God calls His people to bring freewill offerings to support the work of spreading the gospel message globally.
This document discusses the concept of generosity and being blessed. It references several Bible passages that talk about how God blesses the generous. It emphasizes that blessedness is a matter of position through Jesus Christ, not possessions. To experience God's blessing, one must have the heart of generosity, sowing generously as God first sowed generously through giving His Son. True riches come from being generous with what God has provided, not from storing up earthly wealth for oneself. The key to living a blessed life is maintaining a heart of generosity.
The document discusses the importance of generosity and giving. It notes that the key to a blessed life is having a heart of generosity. It provides several biblical references about giving freely and prospering. Generous people who give cheerfully will reap bountifully and be made rich in every way. God blesses those who honor him with their wealth through tithes and offerings.
Gospel order 17-20 - tithes and offerings god's storehouseSami Wilberforce
God has established a system of systematic benevolence whereby His people are to return a portion of their increase to support His work on earth. This includes tithes, which are 10% of one's increase given to support the Levites and later the gospel ministry. Offerings beyond tithes were also expected regularly to support the work of God and care for the poor. God expects His people to prioritize supporting His cause and caring for the needy with the resources He has entrusted to them.
This document discusses principles of planning from a biblical perspective. It teaches that planning requires balance - not too little to drift through life reacting to crises, but also not too much to trust plans over God. The key is discerning God's will through Scripture and conscience. It outlines Joseph saving Egypt from famine by planning during plentiful years on God's instruction. Good planning involves making sure plans align with God's purpose, having right motives, foresight to prepare for needs, prioritizing necessities, and following through on work.
The document discusses biblical teachings around wealth, money, and stewardship. It begins by explaining that Jesus taught about money frequently in the Bible. It then discusses several key points: that our hearts will follow where our money is; that wealth ultimately belongs to God; that Christians are called to be stewards rather than owners of what God provides; that tithing 10% is a minimum but Christians should give generously; and that true happiness comes from generosity not possessions. The overall message is that the Bible calls Christians to wisely manage wealth entrusted to them by God by generously sharing it to honor Him.

How to be a faithful manager of god's treasure lesson3sJonathan Arroyo
This document discusses the biblical principle of tithing, which is giving 10% of one's income to God. It explains that tithing was practiced before and during the time of the Mosaic law, and that Jesus upheld the law and practice of tithing. Christians are called to follow Jesus' example and be faithful managers of God's treasures by tithing their income. Tithing promises blessings including an open heaven, protection, and being a delight to God.
Joel was a prophet in Israel who warned of a devastating locust plague and called the people to repentance. The plague destroyed crops, dried up streams, and prevented offerings to God. Joel explained this was a judgment from God for disobedience. He urged the people to repent through fasting, weeping and prayer. Joel also prophesied a future outpouring of God's Spirit and the ultimate defeat of Israel's enemies when people call on the Lord.
This document discusses the virtues of generosity and how it counters materialism. It begins by defining generosity and materialism. It then examines several Bible passages about generosity, including John 3:16 which discusses God's generosity in giving his son. It argues that true generosity comes from love, like God's love for humanity. The document then discusses how believers should emulate God's generosity through giving without hesitation to meet needs in the community and spread the gospel. It asserts that generous giving leads to overflowing joy and a greater spiritual harvest, as God rewards generous people both on earth and in heaven.
This Sunday school lesson discusses the biblical principle of tithing. It teaches that:
1. As children of God, believers should have faith that God will provide for them since he is their rich heavenly father.
2. The lesson outlines God's steps to financial prosperity, which includes getting a job, working hard, and sharing profits with God through tithing 10% of one's income.
3. Tithing is commanded in the Bible and brings God's blessings, while not tithing brings his curse. Christians should follow Jesus' example of giving tithes since he fulfilled the law.
This document discusses the biblical concept of the second tithe in the Old Testament. It states that every third year, Israelites were required to tithe one-tenth of their agricultural produce and livestock to support religious festivals and assist the Levites, widows, orphans, and strangers. This second tithe could be paid in goods or money and was used for feasting at religious celebrations or providing hospitality for the needy. The document asserts that tithing amounted to approximately one-fourth of the Israelites' income and was tied to God's promise to bless the faithful.

This document summarizes a sermon about Jesus' parable of the barren fig tree found in Luke 13:6-9. The sermon makes several points:
1. The fig tree represents Israel which God planted in his vineyard (kingdom) but found fruitless after sufficient time and care.
2. Christians today occupy the same privileged position and God expects fruit (good works, faith, etc.), not just leaves.
3. God scrutinizes each person but shows great patience, represented by waiting three years for the fig tree.
4. When the tree remains fruitless, Jesus intercedes for one more year of cultivation before it must be cut down, showing his role as

This document outlines seven areas of life that a holistic church called CLHCC United promotes growth and development in: 1) Spiritual relationship with God, 2) Christlike character, 3) Good relationships, 4) Healthy body/mind/emotions, 5) Good financial management skills, 6) Excellence in work/field, and 7) Soul-winning and making disciples. It then provides biblical support for five things God wants to see in people to prosper them: obedience, humility, generosity, balanced hard work, and prayerfulness.
This document discusses the themes of expectation and hope from the perspectives of both the Bible and literature. It contrasts the expectations presented in the novel Great Expectations with the hope and future promised by God in the Bible according to Jeremiah 29:11. The document explores the concepts of expectation, hope, and trees of life and knowledge from various Bible passages to argue that true hope and expectation can only be found through faith in God and his promises of redemption and eternal life.
This document discusses prosperity and financial freedom. It provides biblical passages that discuss:
1) Prosperity bringing pleasure to God and humans having dominion over the earth.
2) Understanding God's vision of prosperity through passages in Galatians discussing redemption and blessing.
3) Prosperity having a purpose of being blessed to be a blessing as discussed in Genesis regarding God's promises to Abraham.
It then lists four practical ways to live under God's prosperity: receiving God's blessing, deciding to be a blessing, understanding God as the source, and believing in who God says He is.

This document discusses three key principles about wealth based on biblical teachings:
1) God owns everything and we are merely stewards of what He provides. Recognizing His ownership keeps wealth in proper perspective.
2) Hard work and diligence are valued, as illustrated by the examples of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and others. Idleness leads to poverty while working yields prosperity.
3) Contentment, not entitlement, should be our attitude toward wealth, as taught by Jesus and Paul. True fulfillment comes from God, not material possessions. How we use wealth can bless future generations or lead them astray.
The document discusses the concept of harvesting what one sows through first fruits offerings. It states that God has ordained places and harvests for each person, and that one must sow tears through sacrificial giving in order to later reap abundance. Sowing sparingly through tithing alone will yield a small harvest, while sowing bountifully through sacrificial first fruits offerings allows God to multiply the harvest.

This document discusses 5 things that God wants to see in people in order to prosper them: 1) Obedience to God's commands, 2) Humility before God, 3) Generosity in sharing with others, 4) Balanced hard work and diligence, 5) Prayerfulness and asking God for blessing. It provides biblical examples for each of these traits and explains how exhibiting them will lead to prosperity according to God's promises.
1) The document provides guidance on setting goals or a "GPS" for the year 2018, with G standing for Goals, P for Prophetic Word, and S for Special Prayer.
2) It encourages setting spiritual and personal goals based on Bible verses, including pursuing Jesus and living supernaturally.
3) It shares prophetic words for 2018 including acceleration, a time for building, and a time when titles will not define identity.
4) It stresses the importance of prayer and committing plans to God, who directs our paths.
For a Christian man or woman, we have a task to be like a runner who is carrying a baton which is the faith in Jesus Christ. It is also important to pass the baton of faith to our children- no inheritance is more valuable than this. Our goal is to ensure that the baton of faith will be passed on from generation to generation so that God's 'Plan of Salvation" for the whole world is achieved.

Do you know your God-given inheritance? Os Hillman reveals what the Bible says about how a person can receive their spiritual and physical inheritance. Presented at the Jubilee Conference in Denver, June 2015.
Receiving Your Inheritance webclass March 2, 2020Os Hillman
1) The document discusses 5 secrets to receiving an inheritance from God: understanding that believers can receive an inheritance based on their work on earth; that receiving inappropriately can cause one to lose their inheritance; the importance of understanding one's purpose to identify their inheritance; that inheritance is received through obedience rather than one's own efforts; and that Satan attacks where one's inheritance lies.
2) It notes ways believers can lose their inheritance, such as receiving inappropriately through sin, bad ethics, or disobedience. Receiving the wrong way through manipulating outcomes or using one's gifts in disobedience can also cause one to lose rewards.
3) Understanding one's God-given work life purpose is key
The document discusses how God created humans to be givers rather than solely focused on worldly pursuits. It cites several Bible verses explaining that God blesses those who give to others in need and calls believers to steward their resources wisely by being generous. The overall message is that Christians should follow God's example of providing for others rather than accumulating possessions for themselves.
Luke 6:38 Give and it will be given to you. Sharing with others. Doing good and showing concern. Doing good without the praise of men. Amount is determined by what you have left after you give. Giving is laying up treasure in heaven.
The document discusses principles for Christians regarding their collection and giving. It outlines that Christians should set aside part of their finances every week to support the church and those in need. Christians should give willingly according to their means and show the proof of their love through generous giving. God loves cheerful, liberal givers who give purposefully without reluctance.
The document discusses the biblical reasons for tithing and giving offerings. It explains that everything belongs to God and we own nothing. It encourages giving cheerfully, generously, sacrificially, and selflessly. The document cites several biblical passages about how God rewards generous giving and how even small gifts from those with little can mean a lot to God. Overall, the document promotes biblical financial support of churches and ministries through the practice of tithing 10% of one's income and giving additional voluntary offerings.
This document discusses living in the love of God. It states that God is love, and those who dwell in love dwell in God. It emphasizes that we must believe and receive God's love, which has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. Living conscious of God's love and abiding in love makes one dangerous to the kingdom of darkness and guarantees success, as perfect love casts out all fear. The document encourages believers to continue dwelling and abiding in Christ's love as they have received the Father's love.
What is the purpose of prosperity? Why should we want it? Is it the Will of God?
The Purpose of Prosperity is to take care of the needs of the Family Business.
The document discusses the crucifixion of Jesus Christ based on biblical accounts and historical facts about Roman crucifixion practices. It describes how crucifixion was intended to inflict maximum pain and suffering. It then details each step of Jesus' crucifixion, from scourging to being nailed to the cross, and explains how his death came more quickly due to weaknesses from blood loss and exhaustion. The document emphasizes that for Christians, Christ now lives in them through the Holy Spirit, giving supernatural life.
The document discusses how the glory of the Lord will be seen in 2017. It provides biblical references showing how believers will "awake" and "arise" as their light and God's glory is revealed within them. When Christians live by faith in Christ, allowing his light and anointing to shine through them by imitating his love, the document predicts this will result in manifestations of God's glory and presence being seen in 2017 through signs of healing, deliverance, and other supernatural works. Believers are encouraged to walk in humility, forgiveness, and peace as Christ lives in them so that the glory of God may be revealed to all.
One becomes righteous through faith, not works. The righteousness that leads to salvation is granted through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by adhering to religious laws or moral codes. The scriptures state that righteousness comes from believing in one's heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing with one's mouth that Jesus is Lord. This faith is counted as righteousness, not any good deeds or avoidance of sinful acts.

A375 Example Taste the taste of the Lord, the taste of the Lord The taste of...franktsao4
It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

3. How to Grow Money
Ephesians 5:1 tells us to imitate God just like kids imitate their parents.
We need to find out how God creates or grows any and everything.
Psalm 148:5 (KJV) 5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded,
and they (sun, moon, heavens, Ect) were created.
In Genesis 1 God “said” 9 times in creating things and people.
He “called” things as He named them in Gen 1. Adam did the same in Gen 2.
He “blessed” by speaking words in Gen 1.
4. How to Grow Money
In Gen 1 God spoke words in order to create, to name, and to bless.
Gen 1 also gives us the mission of man.
Genesis 1:28 (KJV) 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful,
and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish
of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon
the earth.
God empowered man to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, and subdue creation
exercising dominion.
5. How to Grow Money
How was man supposed to complete the mission?
Genesis 1:29 (NLT) Then God said, "Look! I have given you every seed-bearing
plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food.
God blessed man, gave him dominion, and then gave him seed.
Genesis 2:15 (KJV) 15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the
garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
Man was assigned the job of working the Garden AND protecting it.
6. How to Grow Money
After the Flood God said this:
Genesis 8:22 (KJV) 22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold
and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Everything on the Earth works by planting a seed, the seed growing, and the
harvesting of the fruit of the seed.
Man has the ability to choose his seed.
A man with the Blessing can fulfill the mission of being fruitful, multiplying,
replenishing, subduing, and dominating.
8. How to Grow Money
Mark 4:11 (KJV) 11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the
mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all [these] things
are done in parables:
Mark 4:13 (KJV) 13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how
then will ye know all parables?
Jesus said the Parable of the Sower is the key to knowing all of the Parables of the
Kingdom. The Parables explain the mystery of the Kingdom.
The Parable of the Sower explains HOW the Kingdom of God works!
9. How to Grow Money
The Parable of the Sower tells us:
The sower did it for a living.
The sower chose his seed based on the desired harvest.
The sower targeted good ground.
The sower watched over his seed.
The sower harvested the crop produced by the seeds that were planted.
11. How to Grow Money
2 Corinthians 9:6 (KJV) 6 But this [I say], He which soweth sparingly shall reap
also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every
man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of
necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God [is] able to make all grace
abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may
abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath
given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth
seed to the sower both minister bread for [your] food, and multiply your seed sown,
and increase the fruits of your righteousness;). 11 Being enriched in every thing to
all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
12. How to Grow Money
2 Corinthians 9:6 (KJV) 6 But this [I say], He which soweth sparingly shall reap
also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
Bountifully G1909 - with G2129 - blessing
Paul is telling us to give with the Blessing or to give with the Power of God being
released in order to empower to excel.
He is also saying to reap with the Blessing.
According to this Scripture there are two ways to sow and reap, with or without the
Blessing.
13. How to Grow Money
2 Corinthians 9:7 (KJV) 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let
him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Purposeth G4255 - to choose for oneself.
Grudgingly G3077 - pain; grief, annoyance; sorrow due to the loss of earthly
possessions.
Necessity G318 - necessity imposed by circumstances or law of duty due to one’s
advantage, custom, argument.
Cheerful G2431 - cheerful, joyous, prompt to do anything.
14. How to Grow Money
2 Corinthians 9:8 (KJV) 8 And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you;
that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good
work:
Grace G5485 - an empowerment; divine influence upon the heart.
Abound G4052 - to excel; excessive.
Sufficiency G841 - needing no aid or support; self-satisfaction.
Abound G4052 - to excel; excessive.
His Will for us is to excel to the degree of being able to give excessively to EVERY
good and honorable work!
15. How to Grow Money
2 Corinthians 9:10 (KJV) 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both
minister bread for [your] food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits
of your righteousness;)
Ministereth G2023 - to supply; to furnish.
He, by the Blessing, will multiply your seed and multiply the increase of the harvest.
Note: The Holy Spirit calls giving, in particular giving to the poor, righteousness.
Jesus said to “seek the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness”.
16. How to Grow Money
2 Corinthians 9:11 (KJV) 11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness,
which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
Enriched G4149 - to make wealth.
Bountifulness G572 - generosity; openness of heart.
Another translation says:
2 Corinthians 9:11 (NLT) Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can
always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will
thank God.
.
18. How to Grow Money
Let's say there is a Bank of Heaven (similar to Bank of America).
As a Tither you have an account with the Bank of Heaven.
You can make deposits into your account by
1. Tithing. Mal 3:10-12; Heb 7:1-8
2. Giving to the poor. 2 Cor 8-9; Prov 19:17;
3. Giving as a praise to God.
4. Supporting a ministry/minister. Gal 6:6-7
19. How to Grow Money
Tithing - Father, I thank You and praise You for translating me from the kingdom
of darkness into the kingdom that You have prepared for me. Thank You that it is a
kingdom of mercy, joy and abundance. I bring my tithe now to You, Lord Jesus. It
is the rst fruits of what You have given me, and I plant it in Your kingdom as a seed
of blessing, expecting the rich blessings of heaven to be multiplied to me in return.
I thank You, Lord, that You’ve rebuked Satan for my sake, and I stand in agreement
with Your Word that he’ll not destroy my land. He’ll not destroy my blessings, and
he’ll not destroy my crop in the eld. I am a citizen of Your kingdom. I have the
rights and privileges of that kingdom and I stand upon them. Thank You, Jesus, that
heaven’s unlimited resources are mine in Your Name. Amen!
20. How to Grow Money
Giving to the poor.
God will repay because He sees this as a loan. Prov 19:17
Paul received an offering for another group of Christians. 2 Cor 8-9.
Giving as a praise to God.
When a person is so thankful for Him, what He has done or what you're expecting
Him to do. (Pay another's car payment thanking Him for paying yours)
Giving to a ministry or minister. Gal 6:6-7
If you've received from a ministry or minister then you should give to them.
22. How to Grow Money
Since seeds are both spiritual and physical, harvesting is going to be both spiritual
and physical.
Harvesting is going to involve calling those things which are not as though they are.
Meditating on the Word that has been sown will produce the harvest. (Ps 1)
Here's the key to harvesting:
Proverbs 4:23 (KJV) 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it [are] the
issues of life.
23. How to Grow Money
The Garden is the heart.
Working it is meditation.
Keeping the Garden is protecting it.
You protect the heart by not allowing ANY other image than the Word that was
sown to stay in it
The heart has to guard against affliction, persecution, the cares of life, deceitfulness
of riches, and the lusts (pressures) of other things.
24. How to Grow Money
Be Warned!
Be Prepared!
Mark 10:29 (KJV) 29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is
no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or
children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, 30 But he shall receive an
hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and
children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
Staying in Love will prevent your harvest from failing or being stolen.
26. How to Grow Money
There are seasons involved in the seedtime harvest process.
1. Prepare the ground by studying prosperity.
2. Determine the seed by determining the harvest.
3. Plant the seeds, both natural and spiritual.
4. Water the seeds through praise and worship.
5. Protect the seed using your authority.
6. Look for the signs of the harvest.
28. How to Grow Money
1. Decide on your harvest and be specific.
2. Plant the spiritual seed (the Word) and physical seed.
3. Believe you receive (take it and own it) when you pray.
4. Meditate the Word by seeing yourself with the harvest.
5. Release angels to bring the harvest to your attention.
6. Bind the enemy.
7. Give praise continuously.
