present. Counseled clients with various legal problems including family law
matters, including child custody, visitation, domestic violence, and restraining
orders. Provided support, prepared necessary legal pleadings and documents
including complex motions. Made referrals as necessary to other professionals.
• Manager, Becker’s Nursery, Grant, FL 01/2003-07/2008. Responsible for
business startup, operations, and management of million dollar orchid business
including maintaining physical facilities, establishing business, website design
and maintenance, bookkeeping, marketing, sales, and customer service.
• Family Services Counselor, Service Corporation International Palm Bay,
FL 10/1999-03/2003. Collaborated with, and assisted families with both at need
and pre-need end of life decisions. Worked closely with funeral directors and
families to establish best selection(s) of services. Responsible for running and
maintaining cemetery office during off hours, and working with staff during
regular hours. Position included both in office and in home sales, including
sales of appropriate cemetery property, preneed funeral contracts, arranging
property options, arranging cremations, and handling all walk-in business as
necessary.
