The first amendment establishes freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and the right to petition the government. The second amendment protects the right to bear arms. The third amendment prohibits the quartering of soldiers in homes without owner consent. The fourth amendment protects against unreasonable searches and seizures and warrants must be issued with probable cause. The fifth amendment protects due process including no double jeopardy or self-incrimination.
