The First Amendment establishes that Congress cannot establish an official religion or restrict religious practices, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, or the right to peaceably assemble. The Second Amendment gives people the right to keep and bear arms. The Third Amendment prevents the government from forcing people to house soldiers without consent.
