The student learned several important lessons when progressing from their preliminary magazine task to the full product. They failed to properly research school/college magazines for the preliminary, meaning they did not understand their target audience. For the main task, they explored many existing magazines in their genre to fully understand conventions. The student also improved their time management, using checklists to plan research and stay on schedule. Through online tutorials and practice, the student developed important skills like using Photoshop and improving photography techniques. As a result of this increased research, planning, and new skills, the student created a stronger final magazine that better appealed to their target audience.

- 1. As you can see it is easy to distinguish that my target audience is mainly female. This allows me to be aware that I will construct my magazine to a more female audience. Although some of my audience were male so therefore I will have to make sure I include some male oriented aspects to my magazine.
