Daniel learned about recycling in science class and was excited to make an art supply box for a project using recycled materials at home. He cut out pictures from old magazines and glued them on the outside of a used shoebox. Inside, he placed colored paper and filled the box with art supplies like pens and crayons. Daniel was proud that by recycling an old shoebox he could be less wasteful and help the environment, as his teacher had taught.

4. After school, Daniel was so excited to go
home. He was going to make a box for art
materials for his science project. Daniel said,
“I love to make old things useful again”.
When he reached their house, he quickly
looked for an old shoebox. When he already
had a box, he brought out his scissors, glue,
and old magazines.

box.
“Wow! It looks beautiful,” said Daniel.
Finally, he went to his study table and took his
art materials like colored pens, pencils,
crayons, scissors and markers. Daniel placed
them inside his beautiful box with a big smile
on his face.

8. Daniel remembered what his teacher taught
him and said, “ I can now be less wasteful and
save the earth because I know how to recycle
things!
