3. Daniel learned so many things from his
science class. His teacher taught him
about recycling.
Recycling is making new things from
used paper, plastic, glass, and cans.

4. After school, Daniel was so excited to go
home. He was going to make a box for art
materials for his science project. Daniel said,
“I love to make old things useful again”.
When he reached their house, he quickly
looked for an old shoebox. When he already
had a box, he brought out his scissors, glue,
and old magazines.

5. First, he cut out pictures from the old magazines.

7. Then, he placed a colored paper inside the
box.
“Wow! It looks beautiful,” said Daniel.
Finally, he went to his study table and took his
art materials like colored pens, pencils,
crayons, scissors and markers. Daniel placed
them inside his beautiful box with a big smile
on his face.

8. Daniel remembered what his teacher taught
him and said, “ I can now be less wasteful and
save the earth because I know how to recycle
