Product
 Concept development is a critical phase in the
development of a product. In this stage, the
needs of the target market are identified and
competitive products are reviewed before the
product specifications are defined.
Concept Development
Finding the Value
 The value that you incorporate to your
product is called value proposition. It is
a believable collection of the most
persuasive reasons people should
notice you and take the action you’re
asking for.
Innovation
 It is the introduction of something
new in your product or service. This
may be a new idea, a new method or
a device. Innovations may be done
through change of packaging,
improving taste, color, size, shape
and perhaps price.
Unique Selling Proposition (USP)
The factor or consideration
presented by a seller that makes
his/her product or service
different from and better than
his/her competitor is Unique
Selling Proposition.
How to discover your USP and increase your
sales and profit:
Use Empathy
Always remember you are making this product or
services
Identify what motivates your customers
Discover the actual and genuine reasons why customers
buy your product instead of a competitor's
Branding
It is creating name, symbol or
designs that identifies and
differentiates product or services
from the rest.
The features of a good product brand are as
follows:
Delivers the message clearly
Confirms your credibility
Connects your target prospects emotionally
Motivates the buyer
Concretizes user loyalty
Here are some simple tips to publicize your brand:
 Develop a tagline (meaningful, unforgettable and easy to
remember statement that captures the essence of your brand)
 Get a great logo (suitable to your business and consistent with
your tagline)
 Write down your brand messaging (key messages about your
brand)
 Be true to your brand. Do as you promise.
Be consistent, reliable and consistent every time.

would like to sell then make a clear and
interesting product brand with a logo and a
tagline in a short bond paper.

in your home that pertains in the Dressmaking
subject, example is dress/shirts. Write a short
explanation why you bought that specific product.
