 We looked at gradable adjectives, these can have
different degrees, we use gradable adverbs to
describe the degree:
 Come to the board and underline the adverbs-
 It is a bit cold outside today.
 It is extremely cold in Russia.
 It was slightly cold on Monday.
 It will be very cold next week.
 ‘Wow! It is rather cold today’.
 I think it will be fairly cold in Scotland.
 ‘You must be really cold!’
 It could get quite cold tonight.
