Golden Sands Nature Park is a 1320 hectare protected nature park located 17 km from Varna, Bulgaria. The park contains three protected areas - the Petrified Forest, Kamchia Sands, and hosts 20 rare plant species and 70 bird species. Educational routes through the park teach visitors about the local flora and fauna, including "The Jay's Home" children's route. A cleaning event is held annually on May 14th to maintain the park.
