35. When the member books their cruise with us, we will provide them with an offer for the current, lowest rate available for their cruise. In addition, we will re-check the rates for any decrease in pricing! (Other agencies won’t do
this since they operate off of their commission earnings!)
If a cruise requires full payment then we do not re-check the rates as cruise lines do not reduce rates once a cruise is in the penalty period. The penalty period for cruise lines may begin anywhere from 90 to 60 days prior to the sail date.
Once in penalty, the cruise lines will begin to assess penalty fees. Once in penalty, new cruises will need to be paid in full and there is no option for deposits. Cruises cannot be re-priced once the penalty period starts.
