1. Surely it’s God’s Business to choose His special instruments
and we are persuaded that we are in the line of His
purpose we have no sight to question the wisdom of His
appointment. To do so to depreciate His wisdom or to
doubt His power and willingness to become all that
necessary to complete our needs.
There should be no “buts” is our relationship to God’s
will, Nothing will take the Lord by surprise. The entire
field has been surveyed and the preparations are
complete. Then He says, “I will send thee”, every
provision has been made for the appointed task. “I will
not failed thee”, meaning He who gives the command
will also give the eqipment.
3. I. What is in His name?
“This is my Name forever and by this Name I am to be remembered to all
generations.
Exodus 5:2 “We know what they do not know, we saw what they do not see”
Exodus 5:4 “for those who do not know God, worshipping Him is just a waste of
time. They accuse the believer for what they do not believe.”
For one thing He is so much that there is no way to explain Him properly. How can we
describe someone who is everything and wrap it up in one name?
God was saying to Moses, you don’t have to worry about Pharaoh or anybody
else, I Am, either I have it or I can get it. If it doesn’t exist I will create it.
4. II. Why should we know His name?
- To change our wrong ideas to ourselves. (You need not to worry about who
you are, what you can do, what you cannot do and etc.)
The GREAT “I AM” strengthens you in your weaknesses. Be concerned about
who God is than you are about who you are.
- To reach the fulfillments of His promises. (He was able to save you and
made you His people.)
He wants you to know that he made you free from bondage and there so
much more than those acts of love.
- To avoid the wrath of God. (To be not regretful when God already execute
His awesome power.
5. III. How can we possess His revealing character through His
Name “I Am”?
-Willingness to be use by God
-Acknowledge HIM who is Everything
(the Doer of signs and wonders)
-Repentance from unbelief
-Obedience to God’s instructions from Holiness
(Cleansing among God’s people is very important to HIM)
-Do not murmur
(remember HE is able)
-Honor the God of Sabbath.

6. CONCLUSION:
The reason why God called Himself “I AM”
because He wants His people to be reminded
that from the very beginning He already
introduced Himself for a very special way.
And God wants His people to operate and act
with their faith to Him that He will manifest
His great power before their eyes
accompanied with His character to make
them clear the very meaning of Himself
