Glossophonia Fear of speaking
Whatisit? Is defined as a persistent, abnormal, and unwarranted fear of trying to speak or to speak in public.
It can be caused by Depression Schizophrenia Anxiety neurosis Languagedisorderspsychophysicalsource, such as stuttering.
Symptoms More specific symptoms are divided into three categories:  physical  verbal  nonverbal
Symptomsinclude Intense anxiety  Prior to the act of having to communicate verbally in front of a group  To avoid attending events where the group's attention is fixed on the individuals who attend  Physical discomfort Nausea or feelings panic in such circumstances.
Help There are organizations and self-help courses that get progressively achieve the phobics overcome the fear of speaking. Some also take medications to help reduce their anxiety.
