Let’s check out water as a topic
As I browse through the article I begin to see some of the associated vocabulary and issues regarding water (sufficiency, safety, accessibility, etc.) I also see that the World Health Organization has done some work in this area –might want to jot that down for later (it’s a non government organization)!
Check out the “did you know” section…I see some countries that I may want to explore as potential target locations.
Let’s also remember that many of these topics are huge. If I select water as a topic, I’m not done! I must consider all of the different sub topics and select the focus area that interests me the most! I also get focus regions…AKA TARGET COUNTRIES!!!

Again…same main topic…food. But food security means ACCESS to food while Food safety and regulation is ensuring that it is healthy! Know your topic and the vocabulary associated with it!
