Joe Stump, CEO And Cofounder Of Sprint.ly, Discusses The Iterative Product Development Process, Automating Product Releases And Metrics
The software iterative development process enables every product iteration to result in at least one software release. Because of its collaborative, problem-solving character, iterative software development is similar to a multidisciplinary project or parallel development, which places a high demand on communication between the project team and project stakeholders, and among team members themselves. Also referred to as non-blocking development, this process aligns the entire business, from sales to software development, to ship more product more quickly.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is defined as the scientific understanding of intelligent behavior and its implementation in machines. AI aims to create computer systems that can perform tasks requiring intelligence, such as understanding language, learning from experience, reasoning and problem solving. While modern AI has achieved impressive performance on specific tasks, it has not yet reached human-level intelligence in general or the ability to learn from experience like children. Researchers continue to study both computational and biological aspects of intelligence to develop more capable AI systems.

Global Product Management Talk On Feature Prioritization with Amy Lightholder, Agile Coach, @alightholder
A good product backlog is at the heart of any well-functioning agile team. A good product backlog does not automatically ensure good software. However, the lack of a good product backlog often results in incomplete software that does not meet the requirements of customers and stakeholders. The most effective product teams can demonstrate how their prioritization supports larger business priorities (and when the business priorities aren’t clear, these teams clarify them!).

Amy Lightholder is a seasoned UX analyst, Agile facilitator, entrepreneur, and coach with over fifteen years of experience in the tech industry. She holds a degree in Computer Science as well as numerous professional certifications in project and product management.

Ron Lichty, author of the book "Managing the Unmanageable: Rules, Tools, and Insights for Managing Software People and Teams", will speak at the Global Product Management Talk on managing software development teams. The talk will discuss how to transform chaos into clarity through collaboration between product managers and software development managers. Lichty has 20 years of experience managing software teams and turning around problematic situations at companies.
This document provides an overview of various Web 2.0 technologies and how businesses can utilize them, including blogs, wikis, RSS, podcasts, video sharing, social networking, bookmarks, and microblogging. Examples are given of large companies using these tools for communication, collaboration, marketing and other business purposes. The presentation emphasizes that Web 2.0 is about connecting people and engaging customers through two-way conversations on the Internet.
This Global Product Management Talk Twitter discussion will uncover how value co-creation can be applied to the successful development of products and services.
John says, "I'm really delighted to be joining the Global Product Management Talk to lead this discussion, having co-hosted several times. ProdMgmtTalk is such a unique forum for Product Managers, with high-quality insight from a truly global audience. Talking about how to manage a product's end of life stage should enhance everyone's product chops."
Tom Evans, Principal at Lûcrum Marketing, spoke at the weekly Global Product Management Talk on Twitter on February 27, 2012. The discussion focused on assessing product management and product marketing practices within companies. Evans noted that most companies do not proactively evaluate these practices and only look at them when problems arise. He suggested establishing regular audits to review structures, processes and outputs to ensure product excellence. Other participants agreed that companies should review these teams and processes proactively rather than just when things go wrong.
Digital Transformation: Beyond the Buzz(words): Go to the Cloud: How Product ...Aggregage
This webinar discusses how product managers can lead their companies' cloud transformations. It covers four main topics: knowing your costs by considering flexible budgets based on customer usage; leading change by incorporating early customer feedback; bringing quality by focusing on quality engineering and security; and prioritizing work by creating decision models like impact mapping aligned with product goals. The presentation encourages product managers to take specific actions like establishing a budget review process, testing features early with customers, defining operations strategies, and using impact mapping to assess deliverables.
Product lifecycle is short: build products that matterMoriya Kassis
Great things happen to engineers who productize.
How to create personas and how can (and should) engineers take a bigger part in the product process.
Product lifecycle is short. Build products that matter.
Building Product After "Product-Market Fit"Robert Fan
There are many presentations on how to build product as a new startup. However there aren't many presentations on building product as a high-growth startup.
This is a case study for Sharethrough's product process as of 2014.
Veronica Figarella led a discussion on product portfolio management as part of the Global Product Management Talk on Twitter. The discussion addressed questions about what portfolio management entails beyond budgeting, the consequences of poor portfolio management, and approaches to the portfolio management process. Participants shared perspectives on periodically reviewing the product portfolio, making go/kill decisions, and developing new products while balancing the needs of different stakeholders.
There are two main approaches to product development - the "just do it" method and the "slow and methodical" method. The "just do it" approach focuses on quickly prototyping ideas, while the "slow and methodical" approach emphasizes careful planning and analysis. Both methods have advantages and disadvantages depending on the type of product and market. Lean startups benefit more from rapid prototyping, while mature markets do better taking a slower, more planned approach. Most successful projects combine elements from both ends of this continuum.
Analytics in Action: How to Build Data-Informed ProductsAggregage
As a product manager, you probably know specific ways to gather data to inform your product decisions, like the ever-popular A/B test. But as they say, you wouldn't put a round peg in a square hole. What about the times when it doesn't make sense to A/B test, because you have too small a sample size? Do you just do it anyway, because your company's product culture requires that you have those numbers?
Tim Herbig will share his hands-on approach to working with analytics in agile product management. Tim will discuss the line between being data-informed versus data-driven. The audience will leave with an analysis toolkit filled with the right data tools for every scenario. Data validation won't be an issue again.
