Next Sunday, 15th May (Pentecost Sunday), GFEC is
having a Bring and Share lunch after the morning
service, to which everyone is invited to stay and invite
friends to. Please could people bring food to share (and
take away again anything that does not get eaten),
preferably something that doesn’t need keeping hot or
chilled unless you have a cool bag. If it could be accompanied by a suitable
serving plate and cutlery even better! It's a lovely chance to have
fellowship together but there will also be a need for extra help with
furniture moving, setting food out, clearing away again etc. so could
everyone please bear that in mind. If you are not able to help with
preparations please could you enjoy coffee after the service in the DIXON
SUITE so that there is space in the main hall and foyer to set up. Thank
you in advance for your co-operation.
Pilgrim Friends’ Society are part way through a
current project in which they are aiming to build
seven en-suites for Framland, enhancing the dignity,
care and privacy of residents. Please see the flyers
on the noticeboard table at the back of the church for more details about
the project, and to find out how to donate towards the £73,000 cost.
NEXT SUNDAY

Missionary Society, speaks. Includes communion. Youth Group meet.
A shared lunch follows the morning service.
