- Thank you for that wonderful introduction. It finally feels good to be the one being introduced. I am very excited for this event, it is going to be an amazing session and Im sure you all will be hyped up at the end of this. So the topic is getting started with AI and ML on Azure. But before we go into the details let me clear things out, today im not just your friendly neighborhood Technical Core from gdsc mescoe. Today I will be taking the session as Alpha Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador
- So MLSA has come up a lot of times in messages, insta posts, we have been talking about this big collab but what is this MLSA and how is it all related Coming back to today I have got a good haircut and I am also the Alpha Microsoft Student Ambassador. Teaching and learning from my peers has always been my mantra. This is the reason why I am a part of the GDSC community and the Microsoft community
- But we still don’t know what mlsa is? <Read from slide> Lockdown hua tha and the only way to move forward was with each other. The future of tech is collaboration take gdsc for example here we grow together as a community and we find like minded individuals. Even in the Microsoft community we learn new skills, solve real-world problems, and build communities across the globe.
- <read from the slide> So this is a milestone I am completing like right now… Microsoft learn is like coursera but completely free the courses are developed by students and developers like you and me, last month we completed the social impacts projects where we were divided into teams to come up with cleaner and greener solutions for tech, you earn certifications and build communities
- As ambassadors we are divided into various leagues like League AI ML, League Low Code development, League web and mobile app development etc etc where we are provided with tools, resources, guides and mentors so that we actually make a difference
- Like I mentioned in the previous slide all are events are backed by Microsoft from speaker support, to Subway refreshments trust me Ive tried but Subway was only available before covid….So thank you covid.
- So doing this right now. This session and the upcoming one is surely one of a kind and I am sure that you will truly learn something from it. It will truly give you an insight on how AI and ML is being used in real world applications and how you don’t need to be an expert engineer to be a part of this amazing domain.
- My first question is how do you define AI answer in the chat Have you guys watched The Imitation Game, if you haven’t please do watch it The Turing test was developed by Alan Turing in 1950. He proposed that the “Turing test is used to determine whether or not a computer(machine) can think intelligently like humans”? Imagine a game of three players having two humans and one computer, an interrogator(as a human) is isolated from the other two players. The interrogator’s job is to try and figure out which one is human and which one is a computer by asking questions from both of them. To make things a harder computer is trying to make the interrogator guess wrongly. In other words, computers would try to be indistinguishable from humans as much as possible. <SHOW VIDEO> Have you heard about Azure? Automate document processing, scale customer service with bots, and extract insights from content. Abhi wo video mai dekha ki even farmers use ML abhi you don’t expect ki wo log pehele 6 mahine ka course karte hai ML pe and then they build custom solutions All of this is possible because of the tools and services present in Azure cloud, even a novice can build custom solutions that can be beneficial to the masses.
