Sami Kennedy-Sim, an Australian National Ski Cross Team Athlete, has joined the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health (ALSWH) to encourage young Australian women aged 18-23 to participate. The ALSWH is a long-running study of over 40,000 women's health and lifestyle. Sami is currently ranked 11th in the world for ski cross and is heading to the US and Europe to train and compete in qualifying events for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi as the competition season begins.

What is “that study”, #ALSWH?
This study is the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women’s Health. This
study of women’s health and lifestyle is entering an exciting new phase by
inviting Australian women aged 18-23 to join the 40,000 women who have
been generously completing surveys for the pasted 16 years.

Competing on the FIS Freestyle Ski Cross World Cup Tour, Sami is currently ranked 11th in the world and with the
2013 northern hemisphere ski season looming she is heading north for another season of Ski Cross action.
Sami heads to Copper Mountain, USA on November 11 for training prior to the first Ski Cross World Cup- and first
Olympic Qualifying event -on December 8th. With less than 500 days to go until the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics,
Sami and the Australian Ski Cross team are gearing up for the upcoming Qualification events.
An avid supporter of Health education and Healthy Lifestyle promotion, Sami has jumped on board with Women’s
Health Australia to promote the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women’s Health. The study has provided
invaluable data about the health of women as they age.
