Germs are tiny living organisms like bacteria, viruses, protozoa and fungi that can cause disease by entering the body through the air, surfaces touched by others, and contact with sick individuals. - #3 This is where I would wait for some of the children to call out what they think a germ is before I told them. And then I would have them repeat after me what the four major kinds of germs are
- #5 When should you wash your hands? You should wash your hands after sneezing or coughing, after going to the bathroom, before eating, after playing outside, before touching your face, after being around a sick person.
- #6 Here I would pick one student to do each game. The fact or fiction one, I would do with the whole class. If I had the luxury of having computers in the classroom, I would have them decorate their own germ and print them out and hang around the classroom. If not, I would have some of the pictures already printed out and pass them out and let them color it themselves.
