Biannual trips to Cannes for MIPTV & MIPCOM were made where equipment and IT support was
provided for clients’ trade stands . These generally included plasma screens, touch screens,
DVD/Blu-ray and a local area network of PC’s.
Liaising with clients to match encoding profile and video specification requirements for their
websites was a key part of this role day-to-day.
Responsible for receiving new material from several television & film distribution clients in a
range of formats (Digi Beta, Beta SP, DVD, mov, mp4, h.264 etc) and encoding the videos for
streaming on a range of different platforms such as online, mobile and DVD/Blu-Ray.
Wide range of filming & video editing projects such as conferences, sports, in-house weekly
productions and journalism.
Maintained the hard drive cataloguing system and managed DVD duplication operations .

Software – Advanced knowledge of Mediaflex and Microsoft Office. High level of
competence with Windows & Mac OS, Adobe Premiere, Encore & Photoshop,
Procoder, TMPGEnc, Nero, all internet browsers and many more programs. Some Avid,
Final Cut Pro and Adobe Soundbooth experience.
Video Production - Operational skills with a range of different types of television
standard cameras. Equipped with skills required for filming outdoor sports and studio
shoots within a live environment as well as scripted productions. Have worked as a
production assistant and co-ordinator.
