¿Qué son los mapas?
Un mapa es una representación
geográfica del planeta tierra o de
una región en una superficie plana
a escala, aunque, merece
mencionarse, que también existen
aquellos representados en
superficies esféricas, tal es el
caso de los globos terráqueos.
PLANTEAMIENTO:
Los mapas, México y sus limites.
Los mapas cuentan con diferentes elementos:
Elementos Características
Título Menciona el tema del mapa.
Coordenadas geográficas Líneas imaginarias sobre la Tierra que sirven para localizar un
país, un mar u océano…
Rosa de los vientos Es un dibujo con forma de estrella que indica los puntos
cardinales: norte, sur, este y oeste.
Escala Indica cuántas veces se redujo la superficie o lugar
representado.
Simbología Son líneas o figuras que se usan para representar la información
del mapa.
Fecha Señala el año en que se elaboró el mapa.
Fuente Indica el nombre de la institución o persona que lo elaboró.

NUDO:
Limites territoriales o fronteras.
Los limites territoriales o fronteras indican hasta donde se extiende el territorio de un
país. Existen dos tipos:
Limites territoriales
o fronteras
Frontera natural
Frontera artificial
Como ríos, montañas,
cascadas o lagos.
Línea imaginaria o señalada con
monumentos, cercas, puentes o
muros.
NUDO:
Por medio de los mapas sabemos que México es un país del continente americano ubicado en
América del Norte, con un amplio territorio delimitado por fronteras. Esta formado por una
superficie continental, una superficie insular, un mar territorial con una Zona Económica
Exclusiva y un espacio aéreo. Además, México esta dividido en 32 estados o entidades, una de
ellas es la Ciudad de México, donde se ubican los tres poderes de gobierno: ejecutivo,
legislativo y judicial, en un mapa de México con división política podemos identificar el nombre
de los estados y de sus capitales.
NUDO:
I.- Marca con café el meridiano 0°, con verde el ecuador y colorea de amarillo el
continente donde se ubica México.

II.-En el siguiente mapa ubica y colorea de rojo el país donde vives.

  • 4. Los mapas, México y sus limites. Los mapas cuentan con diferentes elementos: Elementos Características Título Menciona el tema del mapa. Coordenadas geográficas Líneas imaginarias sobre la Tierra que sirven para localizar un país, un mar u océano… Rosa de los vientos Es un dibujo con forma de estrella que indica los puntos cardinales: norte, sur, este y oeste. Escala Indica cuántas veces se redujo la superficie o lugar representado. Simbología Son líneas o figuras que se usan para representar la información del mapa.   • 7. Limites territoriales o fronteras. Los limites territoriales o fronteras indican hasta donde se extiende el territorio de un país.   • 8. Por medio de los mapas sabemos que México es un país del continente americano ubicado en América del Norte, con un amplio territorio delimitado por fronteras. Esta formado por una superficie continental, una superficie insular, un mar territorial con una Zona Económica Exclusiva y un espacio aéreo. Además, México esta dividido en 32 estados o entidades, una de ellas es la Ciudad de México, donde se ubican los tres poderes de gobierno: ejecutivo, legislativo y judicial, en un mapa de México con división política podemos identificar el nombre de los estados y de sus capitales.
