This document contains a series of questions and answers about travel from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Genting Highlands and hotel options. It recommends taking the KLIA Express to KL Sentral then a bus to Genting, with total travel cost of around RM55 per person. The First World Hotel is suggested as the cheapest option in Genting at around RM100-200 per night. Travel after 19th March to avoid school holiday crowds.

It is up to your budget, for me I always stay at the Imperial Hotel in Bukit Bintang, it is RM130 a
night, walking distance to LRT station, opposite is the famous hawker Jalan Alor and that is the

2. Robert asks…
how to go to KL and Genting highland from LCCT?which hotel is
cheap at genting?
Cuti-cuti Malaysia answers:
First world hotel is the cheapest hotel in Genting Highland.
From LCCT to Genting Highland, you can take Aerobus. Aerobus from LCCT to Genting
Highlands is priced RM35.00 for one-way travel.
Alternative way to go to KL and Genting is to take the Skybus from LCCT to KL Sentral, the one
way on the Skybus is RM9.00, then from KL Sentral, take a Genting Express Bus to Genting
Highlands Resort- the fare including Skyway is RM7.30/adult/one way.
From Genting Highlands Resort, go to the adjacent Highlands Hotel, and there is complimentary
shuttle bus to First World Hotel.

I am So worry that i can’t book a Hotel room for my trip to Genting
Highland.?
I’m going on March 23 to Genting with Friends. I’m Booking on 19 of March which i just turn 18
years old.
Am i able to book a room at the age of 18? Do you know?
hope you can help me.
Cuti-cuti Malaysia answers:
Don’t worry. At 18 you are no longer a minor therefore legally allowed to book your own hotel
room and even purchase alcohol in most pubs. But you will not be allowed in the Genting
casino, for that the minimum age is 21.

4. how to travel from kaula lampur international airport to genting
with family of 4,how much and how far?
howz the climate in genting during late march; any good and reasonable 3-4 star hotel?
Cuti-cuti Malaysia answers:
Hello there and welcome to Malaysia. Im Hafiz, Im not a travel agent but Ill try to assist you as
best as I could:)
From KLIA you could travel by taxi but its way too expensive but since you are traveling in 4 pax
so I would recomend taxi as an option if you find the combination of this price below is higher
than the taxi fare.
(1USD = RM3.70 +-)
Alternatively you could used the KLIA EXPRESS and it is RM 35(USD10 +-) per person not RM
21 as proclaim by the people before me to KL CENTRAL. From there you can catch the bus for
RM20+ per person. It will take you all the way to the cable car. And up to the top of genting
highland:) the price for the cable car is added into the bus ticket.
Hotel?
In genting you can stay at First World hotel… Those are cheap and I belive it is a 4 star hotel.
Basicly upthere there are many cheap 3-4 stars hotel (RM100-RM200) and if you are planning
to go there this month please do so after 19th March coz its school holiday and the place will be
swarming with people and everything will be expensive:p
If its hotel down here in KL, yup… The KL central hotel… Or just come around bukit bintang or
KLCC and you’ll find one to suite your needs.
Thats about it and I hope you enjoy your stay here in Malaysia and if you have anything to ask,
be happy to ask the local and they will help or you could always drop me a line by the no 016
