The documentary Super Size Me follows filmmaker Morgan Spurlock over 30 days as he eats only food from McDonald's. During this time, he eats three meals per day from the fast food chain and consumes every item on their menu at least once. The documentary shows how this diet impacts Spurlock's physical and psychological health, resulting in weight gain, mood swings, and liver fat accumulation. It took Spurlock 14 months after the film to lose the 24.5 pounds he gained during the 30 day experiment.
