The Generation Game is a British game show that aired on BBC One from 1971 to 1982 and was revived briefly in 1994 and again from 1998 to 2001. The show featured contestants working in teams to complete various DIY and assembly tasks within a time limit for points and prizes. It was hosted by Bruce Forsyth and became hugely popular for its fun, lighthearted atmosphere and Forsyth's entertaining banter with contestants.
